Quality Inn & Suites Palm Island Indoor Waterpark

Lobby was nice and desk staff was very friendly. The room was disgusting! Patched wall. The curtain didn’t close and has hanging half off and couldn’t be fixed…. Had street light shining in face all night long. The floors were so nasty and didn’t dare touch the air conditioner, it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years☹️

Bathroom fan is not working and bowl water is not draining

This property is very worn down, nothing like the photos. Smelled funny, not clean, had used shampoo and conditioner in our bathroom!

The whole building is in desperate need of some TLC, probably even a renovation.

Restaurant and bar closed, entrance door left open, a/c not working, overall very poor and old furnishings and upkeep

Cockroaches, poorly maintained property.

This property has been poorly maintained. The room smelt like they dumped a gallon of cleaning solutions in the room. We had to leave after 30 min because the smell was causing a migraine. There were holes in the sheets. 0/10 do NOT recommend.

This hotel is a total dump. It is disgusting and run down. We stayed here solely for our special needs 5 year old to get to play at the water park. The water park is closed Monday-Friday and only open weekends. This is not listed anywhere on the website. Our daughter was devastated.

I booked this hotel 2 months in advance as it had a waterpark for our sons birthday and easy access to Darien Lake for the concert. Upon arrival, the reservation was wrong. I requested two rooms side by side, but they gave away the conjoined room to my room to random people. They said because of the concert at Darien Lake there was no extra rooms and wanted half of our party to go to the 4th floor. We asked for a closer room- they had one down the hall... 3 hot corridors with different urine and other smells accumulating the further you went in. Doors were open with holes in walls. There were holes in our bathroom door, air vent ripped off the ceiling & covered in dust. Blood stain on the ground in the haway. Centipede or something equally creepy in one of the beds. My moms sink was broken & toilet wouldnt flush- inconvenient especially when she was babysitting her grandkids for the night. The water park was closed- which was our plan- so we rearranged and left to Darien Lake. Honestly, it was probably for the better. Their breakfast was cereal, muffins, and apples/bananas. Nothing "hot," except the pitcher of orange juice with no ice. Would not recommend to stay, especially with children.

Property is in poor shape with some dilapidated attributes. Room smelled strongly of cleaning agent as though a whole bottle of concentrated detergent had been used.

We stopped just overnight to sleep, so I can't comment on everything. But for just sleeping it was fine enough besides our room never cooled down, would probably not return though, was absolutely nothing wrong with the place but can definitely get nicer for the money

Property was filthy, we didn’t even stay. Holes in the walls. Furniture all stained, horrible smell. Staff did not care at all. We left and they didn’t even ask why.

Property is run down. Falsly advertised pool and water park. Smelled rooms were not private but had adjoning doors on both sides. Questionable activities in parking lot. Other guest and staff were hostile. We did nor stay but went to another hotel. Very disappointing.

Let me start by saying the staff were quite nice so this review is in no way a reflection on them. The only positive thing I can say is the bed was clean, not comfortable, but clean. The room was stuffy and the AC only went to 74 and leaked onto the carpet so of course all you smell is damp carpet. Only two lamps in the whole room so it was dark. Bathroom layout was TIGHT! Had to straddle the toilet if I wanted to close the door. Rust stain in tub, no stopper in tub(had my grandchildren so need to be able to do a bath) and no washcloths at all. Cracked walls and stucco ceilings that have seen better days. Breakfast was seriously lacking. Cold cereal and breakfast bars served on a counter in the lobby. Some attention to the basic needs of this hotel are needed. I’ve been here before for conferences so I know it can be better, someone just has to care.

Das Hotel entspricht keinem Quality Inn Standard. Es ist total heruntergekommen. Das ganze Hotel stinkt und überall stapelt sich der Müll. Zum Glück waren die Zimmer für 1 Nacht ok. Frühstück gab es nur Cornflakes und Wasserkaffee.

The room was moist and smelly. Very unhappy.

Had a horrible night with bed bugs. Sticky carpets I don’t recommend
