I've stayed at the Sandcastle 5 times. I love it. Love the beach view.

Thr room was wonderful and the reception was great. The view was glorious and I'm going back again soon!

Beautiful location right across from the beach. Amazing sunsets. We got a great deal on a penthouse suite! You do have to pay for wifi if you are not a member. Limited dining options but full kitchenette so bring your cooler of food to make. Pool+Hottub+Fitness center also.

We had an incredible stay! The pictures do not do it justice, the property is clean, well maintained and wonderful. The front desk staff are EXCEPTIONAL. The absolute kindest, most thoughtful staff i have ever encountered. We will return for sure!

This place is so much fun! Excellent location! Good price. Lots of fun extra in the clubhouse upstairs- puzzles, games, bbq, amazing views, etc. room was huge and so nice! Loved that the kitchen was stocked.

Enormous, clean room with a balcony and view of the beach. The pool was warm for the kids also with a view of the beach.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It is very family oriented so if you prefer not having kids playing and enjoying themselves- avoid. We were an older couple and wish we could have had our grandchildren with us. Staff is very nice. Coffee is served in the lobby from 7 to noon. Breakfast is not provided. Our space had a full kitchen so we were just fine - eating in or out when we wanted. From what I understand, this is a timeshare facility and spaces open up when owners cancel their available time. The biggest complement I could give - we would go back if not on the opposite coast.

Absolutely loved it. Had a plan to meet family from Bellingham. This was close and a thousand times nicer than staying in a hotel in the City. We didn't want to leave! No A/C but it didn't feel hot even when it was 82 degrees out. There was a ceiling fan in bedroom and living room. Lots of kitchen ware for cooking and baking but strangely no skillet so we cooked our eggs in a large sauce pan. Depending on who you book through you might have to pay for internet, which just seems outdated and greedy. Thankfully we booked through Orbitz and had internet included.

A weekend escape to Canada and Birch Bay, Washington, entailed mornings spent on the balcony with coffee, taking in the water vistas and birdlife, and serene evenings witnessing the sunset's splendor. Truly, a destination tailored for unwinding and connecting with nature.

This place has the BEST views and location around. Wonderful place very nice rooms. Pool was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Birch Bay!!!

We had a wonderful weekend! The hotel is clean and the staff was great. We loved that it was right across from the beach, close to restaurants and had a pool. We will definitely be back!

Even though we could not get confirmation from Raintree until ONE day before our arrival, when we called one day prior, the front desk person was helpful, pilite, & professional. All worked out great

Need a lot of upgrade . Location is perfect for a family get away.

We've stayed before, again pools were out but noone said anything even at checkin. Pools had just opened next day. I took a hard fall as I stepped onto top step of hottub, even though I was gripping rail and am always super careful. It was as if oil was on it, my leg bolted out from under me. That was one week ago and Im still in pain and its been a real 'pain' since as my tailbone took a hard hit, twisted ankles going down etc.We reported it to front desk right away and were told they'd have maintenance look at it. We stayed there an hour and noone came. We said something again, same response. I have emailed the Raintree Corp and no response to date. Crickets. It would take so little to at minimum follow-up. Just fix the problem Raintree.
