it's a great place! I always stay at Ramada Limited Mount Sterling--I keep coming back because it's so clean and friendly.

My 13-year-old son and I stayed while heading 40 minutes to Red River Gorge for hiking and other outdoor activities. The bed was way too stiff for us which meant we only managed 4-5 hours of sleep a night, which made vacation rough at times. The breakfast was okay. The cleaning service was good. The staff were so nice and so accommodating. Just some nitpicky stuff to talk about. Our toilet wasn’t bolted to the ground, the toilet seat was held on by screws that someone screwed into the seats, the outlets are behind your mattress and that makes it hard to use them. Only three available plugs besides the ones behind the bed. The rooms aren’t very sound proof - we could hear everything outside. We felt safe while there. Lots of local food places to eat. Walmart down the road. Swimming pool that goes up to 4 1/2 feet (never saw anyone in it besides us). Other than the bed situation, this was not a bad experience at all. However, we actually left early and went home due to how stiff the mattresses were and our lack of getting quality sleep.

Mattress needs replacing. Most other motels in same price range I paid have microwave & refrigerator. My room did not.

We only stayed one night as this was a stop on the way to somewhere else, but it was nice. Pool area definitely needs work and the spa was down but everyone was friendly and the property was otherwise pretty nice.

Nice room and quiet the way I like it. Only bad thing I can say is the pool was out of order and the TV did not work well. Other than that, I was well pleased.

Staff was great. Only issue was jacuzzi was not operational during stay. But pool was operational.

In our room the smoke detector was hanging by wires from the ceiling, the room phone had no cords making it impossible to make calls, the inside of the shower curtain had stripes of mildew, the instructions for the shower were not there, the swimming pool was out of order. Ha

The property was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was standard continental. The front desk people were nice and helpful. Room amenities were good. The property needs some maintenance. The keycard was an issue. They had to be programmed 3 times.

I don’t recommend the Ramada in Mt Sterling at all and will not be returning. The first room we got had water flooded 6 feet away from the wall and the carpets were soaked. Not sure how long that was like that for, if it was for a while, mold could be present. With a toddler who plays and is all over the place, I wasn’t going to stay in that room and keep her confined to only half of the room because the floors were soaked. We talked to front desk and they told us we could get a new room but not until the next day. The new room we got the following evening, was filthy. I had a better chance at motel 6. Pillows still had makeup all over, bathroom was not clean, not sure the last time they cleaned it considering it looked like dried old throw up behind the toilet, writing on the mirrors, and not a single towel or washcloth. There’s supposed to be no smoking on our floor, but it reeked of marijuana bad. Who wants their child breathing that in? And the key cards. I had to go get them reactivated just about every day it seemed. They kept saying it was me but I know for a fact it wasn’t because I purposefully kept them in a pouch in my purse that wasn’t by my phone and one that was empty.

I really shouldn’t complain as it was a low rate. However, the breakfast didn’t offer much. The pool was out of order during our stay. There was issues with the TV. The hotel itself is in need of updating. Not bad for a quick overnight stay. Wouldn’t recommend for staying longer.

The bed had dirty Linen on the room was supposed to be No smoking but the elevator and the whole floor smelled like cigarettes. The bath exhaust fan did not work Light bulbs flickered and never came on. was supposed to have Microwave and refrigerator in room but was none. this was the one of the worst hotels we stayed in. I won't stay with Ramada in the future. The staff were lazy and did not care.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was minimal and they ran out of many selections every day I was there. No microwave or fridge in the room. Cable was DirecTV. Quiet neighborhood, view was just a parking lot. Smokers were constantly under my window. Most shopping was on the other side of town.
