Was actually a nice little cozy spot. TV was a bit small but whatever.

I really liked the room. It was a king bed, very comfortable, spacious and the kitchenette area was super cute!! And it was really quiet at night. However in the morning there was noise like from construction or gardening. A bit disappointing that the pool was closed due to maintenance. But other than that, this is a great place to stay! I will definitely come back.

The pictures for this place are deceiving, room stinks like cigarettes, spider webs holes on the walls and the walls are so thin you can hear everything also loud music and tv going on till 3-4 am, even people walking down the stairs the stairs bounce and are loud. Don’t stay here !!!

Front desk lady was so nice and helpful. This was the quiet hotel I have ever stayed at. The only complaint was the bed, it made my back hurt but everything else was great!

Great and quiet.

There was parting at the hotel all night. At 2:30 in the morning I called hotel regarding noise. It was above us and loud partying. After 3 in the morning it stopped. I approached owner. She apologized but stated They just wanted to have a good time.

One of the quietest and cleanest places I’ve stayed in a long while. The front desk personnel were very kind and made check in super quick. The standard king room is very spacious and the mattress is very comfortable. Overall a great stay, definitely will be coming back.

Everything was good

This place looked great online...not so much in person. I booked a king room with a balcony. Upon check-in I was told that the balcony was not accessible due to construction. I got to the room and it was boarded up. This place is old and run down, but the front desk guy was nice.

Perfectly comfortable with enough amenities to keep us happy. Friendly staff and quick to respond. Would stay here again!

Quiet, nice private space and clean. It’s not close to the ocean so be prepared for that, but lots of eateries close by. There is a small kitchen area but no crockery or utensils. Sofa bed did not have pillows or blankets provided, only sheets even though reservation stated 3 people. We just stayed one night for an early fishing trip and it was adequate for our needs.

Clean pool and property. Very reasonably priced! Bed was comfy with good pillows!

Excellent as usual

Overall monterrey is overpriced in my opinion. Scottish inn provides an OK accommodation in a pricy town. You are not walking distnce to anything. The room itself is nicely updated and very spacious for the price, even though the wasroom is definitely original. I will say the bed is perfect medium firmness, slept like a baby here got my 9 hours and then some. There are really no ammenotira but free coffe is all I need. If you are going to stay in this town this place aint a bad choice.

Nice room.

Our stay at the hotel was decent. The desk folks were friendly but not very clear about deposit refund at checkout(I did get my deposit back). Our room was clean and comfortable for the most part but the shower was not great. The location said it was within walking distance of beaches, but I did not find it so. A bit of a disappointment that. I would have given a better review, but when we arrived and went up to our room we found multiple rooms closed and labeled as condemened. Our room was surrounded on both sides(except one room) by condemned rooms. This was a little concerning to say the least. I will not choose this hotel again I'm afraid.
