It is a beautiful place. The rooms are lovely and clean. The beach is few steps away from the rooms. We loved it!

I have “driven by” this place (sign lol) on the main road SO many times, but not visited. Glad we did finally! Everything was amazing from check in to check out. They maintain the old charm, wonderful staff, amazingly clean and nice, quiet beach to relax with a great view….will definitely be back. Shout out to the staff at Nookies also!

We’ve stayed at several properties in the Greenport area and this was our first time at Silver Sands; we loved it! The rooms were updated, clean and cute. The beach access was a huge plus, as well as on site restaurants. They don’t charge for parking (as some hotels nearby are starting to do) and the location is central to Greenport Village and the wineries. We went for an anniversary trip and stayed in the motel section but would definitely come back with the kids and try out the bungalows! Overall great trip and would recommend to others; we will be back!

Can’t wait to go back

Our second trip this summer. Very child friendly. Staff accommodating. Good restaurants on site ( although restaurant service could be improved food is outstanding).

This was our 2nd year to Silver Sands and just can’t beat it.

Stay was great, room very clean. Only thing I would change is add an extra summer quilt/ blanket and lower room divider or move TV. For those who like to watch TV in bed late at night, difficult to view TV with room divider in Queen rooms.

incredible update to this gem of a hotel. The food was great, oysters on point, drinks cold! The whole experience is 10 out 10. Highly recommend

Wonderful location and hotel

This property is a treasure. Think Palm Springs meets Adirondacks. If you are overworked and stressed out this is an ideal spot for relaxing in the summer. Food is exceptionally good. Lounging under the umbrella beach side combined with a refreshing swim makes your dreams come true. Staff members are delightful.

Silver Sands Motel & Beach Bungalows had me at Hello! I loved the vintage vibe, the private beach!!, the great customer service (Charlotte, David, Melissa), clean rooms with the best water pressure on a shower/immediate hot water, cute back patio area, attentive housekeeping, on-site dining options, bikes, and proximity to town & other sites. Loved it!!

Very family friendly

The rooms were remodeled and well decorated. The restaurant was amazing.

Keifer at the front desk was wonderful. She walked us to our shack and gave us all the info we needed. And when we locked ourselves out at 10 pm, she let us back in with a smile. She was wonderful!
