Rooms slightly noisy due to older building. A continental breakfast would have been nice or at least coffee in lobby

The gal at check-in was very friendly. She even provided us with a few dining options as I had asked for some recommendations. Room was clean. There is onsite parking but not necessarily a guarantee that you will get a spot if you get back late in the evening. There is street parking available. Overall a good stay as we were only there for 1 night.

The room was clean but very basic. Bed was firm, pillows went flat. We requested additional pillows and they said that they didn’t have any extras. The bathroom was updated. We wanted a first floor room because we didn’t want to carry luggage upstairs, but this meant that we could hear people walking around upstairs. The room had a fridge and microwave. If you’re old with a firm bed and a room that feels rather empty, then you’ll be ok with this motel. We chose to leave after one night and the manager graciously agreed to give us a refund.

Pros: Nothing out of the ordinary. Its a Motel. It was pretty clean overall. It was quiet during my stay. Seems like the bathroom is renovated which is nice. Microwave & Refrigerator included. Check in & out was easy & smooth. Swimming pool open for everyone. Cons: I did see a few hair strands on my bed and some on the floor. There wasnt much but i did spot it. No handsoap! Not sure if its just my room or if its all rooms. Floors not the cleaniest either. After walking around in the room barefoot, my feet did get dirty. And the last thing is parking. If the place is fully booked, parking spots will be limited. During my stay, it was fully booked. I went out and came back around 9:30pm and saw only 4-5 parking spots left. If the parking lot is full, you will have to park on the street.

Pleasantly surprised! The place was nice & quiet. Nice area for a morning walk. We did use the indoor pool & hot tub. The kids loved it & they even provided pool towels

I liked that the hotel had a room with 3 beds so that my sons and I could sleep separately. It was quiet and in a convenient location. I didn't like that the pool and hot tub closed at 9. Due to that, we never got to use the hot tub, which I was looking forward to.

The bed was quite comfortable. There were convenient electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. The in-room refrigerator had a freezer as well as simple refrigeration. The property needs some renovation. Window shutters are nice looking but they had many broken hooks. The hot tub was large and heavenly warm but the pump was broken. It had been working the day before.

The room was cute and the area was safe (lots of other hotels around). However, it’s not a very walkable area and we ended up driving pretty much everywhere for dinner, shopping, etc.

After checking in we walked into a dirty room. Hair all over shower. Floors not cleaned. The place was old. Our furniture was all old and had burn marks. Toilet paper is horrible. The place is conveniently located. Did not see roaches or mice.

Definitely a good option when going on a budget. Nothing fancy, but staff was kind and place was clean which is all we needed

Stayed here numerous times. My go to place when staying in Monterey. Rooms are nice. Indoor pool and spa are good when weather is cool.
