Great retro vibe, friendly and attentive staff!

we enjoyed the location to the warehouse district and the hotel bars. very fun

I absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff was so kind and helpful. I booked the Corner King specifically for the soaking tub, and it was worth every penny. The only gripe I have is that I had trouble casting my phone to the TV, but the staff was quick to help.

The mattresses were hard and unacceptable for a Hyatt. There was no comfortable chair in the room. Otherwise, the room was okay. I would not recommend due to the beds.

Very unique deco-feel property, front desk staff was great. Room was funky in both interesting and not so great ways. I requested a quiet room, and it would have been but for the very loud knocking sounds that occurred when the AC was finished with a cycle. So you'd be awakened many times in the night. In addition there were quite loud knocks from the full-size fridge in the room. The room was very spacious, with spare and unusual 1920s-30s decor, purposely shabby (a shoe print on the coffee table that must have had paint on it) The toilet seat had some type of adhesive residue in the shape of a foot print, that housekeeping promptly responded in an attempt to clean it, but after really trying, only got some of it off. I might have requested a room change, but we weren't there that long to bother. I like the hotel's location, but we don't think we'll be back to the Barnett.

The air conditioner did not operate making time spent in the room challenging. The front office was amazing as was Louis the doorman and bellman. The staff is excellent but Im not sure Hyatt is investing as they should in the property. When Ace operated we never had challenges with engineering issues in the guestrooms.

The first night, I woke up in middle of night to see a cockroach crossing the floor. I asked them to put incidentals on a different card which I gave them. They put a $300 hold on that debit card and then proceeded to take out incidentals on my debit card which they said they wouldn't. Some of the staff were great and some were down right rude!

Loved our stay at the Barnett! Would definitely stay here again. Great location close to things yet away from the fray. Fabulous lobby and bar, love the cafe for morning coffee and pastries. Lunch at the restaurant (bar area) was delicious and server was super sweet. Room was spacious and comfortable. All staff members were courteous and helpful. Very much enjoyed our time here.

Unique hotel for the neighborhood with the best pool by far. Wonderful staff, great bars and food too. The only place I’ll stay in New Orleans now.

Staff was very professional and courteous I would recommend this to anyone visiting the city Of New Orleans very safe and everything is within walking distance ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Everything was clean/nice and the décor was very unique

Upon checkin, they didnt gave the king size bed we booked through hotels.com. The receptionist said that because we booked through a 3rd party that they can't guarantee we would ger what we booked. Hotels charged us and the hotel charged us so were charged twice. The hotel appears to be dated and rooms were not very warm. Almost as if it was bare and not welcoming. We left the hotel and stayed at another hotel instead.

Love this property! As an Ace Hotel or a Hyatt property, it works for us. Eclectic, fun, friendly & helpful staff.

The Barnett is convenient, classy and well stocked. The location and rooftop Pool is key in NOLA. Easy to do anything in the area, great staff and food.

I booked a room with a balcony, they were 'sold out' and told me that a reservation is not guaranteed in room type when you book third party. then went into the room where a random man tried to get into my room, he asked when I checked in since he was 'just in there' then when I went to shower, the bathtub hadnt been cleaned. neighbors were very loud, walls were paper thin. nam, the bellman at the end of the trip (after checkout) made up for it by helping me walk my bag to my next hotel a few blocks away. (no one helped or offered to help me with my bag upon checkin) also theres no room service, also the incidentals are 200 dollars a night instead of the typical 150.

Live music in lobby was fun

Substandard hotel, phones in hotel not working, noisy fridge in room. Unhelpful staff.
