Fabulous old/classic hotel. Lovely place. The free shuttle was really nice to and from airport. It even took us to the theatre. Hope we can come back sometime.

I have never stayed anywhere this dirty. We were given multiple rooms and each one was worse than the last — snails crawling around, bugs on the mattresses, and a general feeling of neglect. They even gave us the wrong room at one point. The night staff, especially Jane, was the embodiment of the hotel itself: worn out, tired, and completely uninterested in helping. This was beyond disappointing.

The Brown is a very special, classy beautiful historic hotel. The rooms were large and spacious, the bathrooms were very clean and modern, the old time ambiance was outstanding and the staff was exceptional. We will certainly be back!

The hotel itself is historic and so beautiful. We ate at both restaurants during our stay and had great experiences. The rooms were clean but had a very moist, damp feel throughout the stay. They could use some updating to the fixtures, painting, etc. Rhe bed was very firm but my husband was very comfortable, so that's subjective. Ultimately was a very nice stay.
