The front desk greeted me with outstanding customer service unlike any other I was overwhelmed with joy as I was treated with the highest level hospitality, thank you for everyone at the front desk who went over and beyond to help my experience be out of this world!

Check in process was slow as there was one person working. The gym was extremely small and not representative of the pictures.

Hotel is good but rooms are small.

The Chatwal made our fantasy weekend in NYC even more fantastical. Perfect location. Lovely lobby and bar. Gorgeous room with motorized drapes, a Full Service Toilet(!) and a big shower. If you can splurge, this is the hotel to book.

This is my second stay at this property and I will continue to return due to the top-notch service and super convenient location. Everyone from doormen to front desk are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of everything being in Times Square, but you wouldn’t know it from inside the hotel where it’s safe, quiet and calm.

Wow!! What an amazing hotel!! Perfect location for shopping and access to Central Park. Staff was amazing. On-site restaurant vibe was cozy and romantic, and the food was phenomenal. They went above and beyond and made this trip memorable!! I used to live in NYC and I would absolutely stay here again. Boutique hotel - not too big - not too small - over the top luxury!!

Well placed hotel just off Times Square in a small historic building. Staff are friendly, room was reasonably sized and well equipped. Room was not ready until 7 p.m but the hotel made up for this with free drinks and breakfast - the excellent salmon bagel is basically a massive fresh salmon on top of a huge bagel. The pool is cold and the size of a large bath tub. I’d stay again - a nice hotel overall.

Was supposed to have a view or tub and didn’t get either. Booked in advance snd requested this. Kept being locked out of room with keys not working. Someone went into the room, even though we had the privacy button on and lights were turned on.

Absolutely disappointing. We booked a double room and were given one king bed for our family of five. The front desk simply told us to deal with it and that although it was their mistake they had no other rooms available and therefore could do nothing for us. My husband (who is recovering from back surgery) and I slept on the floor. I am so sad as we were making this trip to the Chatwal an annual family tradition and after the awful way we were treated we will never stay there again. Beware - I witnessed the front desk berating multiple guests. The hotel is not worth the price. There are plenty of other options nearby with better accommodations and professional, kinder staff.

Excellent customer service throughout the hotel from all staff. Big shout out to Luisa who could not have been kinder.

Amazing stay, as usual.

Wonderful hotel. Easy access to shops, attractions. Excellent rooms, showers, all impressive. Excellent service, great food in the restaurant. However, we could not use the patio due to the great many nearby Times Square restaurant exhausts. The smell of cooking oil was unbearable. And it also seeped through in the room. Regrettably, won't choose Chatwal again.

I was most disappointed that the rooms had old televisions. No smart TV;s.

The Chatwal is very central to Times Square and other iconic buildings. The members of staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had the best trip to NYC and will recommend the Hotel to others
