Can’t beat the location. Right in the heart of SoHo/Nolita and walking distance to West Village etc. Bars and restaurants everywhere. Room was teeny tiny though! Balcony not much use for us as it rained during our stay pretty much every day. Cool hotel decor and very nice staff. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It’s in a vibrant neighborhood, and is walking distance to NoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Bowery. Just the best location! And the staff is kind and calm and helpful. They even have two cool bikes to borrow. Amazing stay!

Good points: distinctive and modern hotel, cool lobby, stylish rooms, interesting neighborhood OK points: beds on the soft side, showers fairly weak, lots of room space taken by an unused soaker tub Room for improvement: wifi is too weak, needs an upgrade (probably hardware); no loaner bicycles (as advertised); morning coffee intermittently available

As a former New Yorker, I loved the location. In the room I really appreciated the balcony and the mini fridge.

I like that it was close to the city and great restaurants. The only think I kind of did not like is that the bathroom a glass wall and everyone could see when you were taking a shower.

I booked a confirmed room at The Nolitan the morning of my flight. My husband and I arrived early at 1:30 PM — well ahead of their 3:00 PM check-in — and were told the room wasn’t ready. No problem, we left our bags and went out, assuming we’d return to a ready room as promised. Instead, at 3:15 PM — after check-in time — we get a casual phone call saying, “Sorry, we’re overbooked. We won’t be able to accommodate you.” No real apology. No empathy. Just a flat, scripted line delivered by the front desk like we were a minor inconvenience. When I asked why we weren’t told earlier when we were standing at the front desk, their excuse? “The front desk didn’t know.” Let me be clear: I am pregnant. I had just gotten off a flight, walked through the city, and was depending on a place to rest. Not only did they not offer an apology that felt remotely sincere, they made zero effort to fix the situation. No offer to rebook us elsewhere, no upgrade, no compensation — not even a bottle of water. We were left standing in NYC with our luggage and nowhere to go — and they didn’t care in the slightest. For a hotel that brands itself as boutique luxury, they offer the warmth and care of a bus terminal. Honestly, if you enjoy gambling with your travel plans, go ahead and book here. Otherwise, run.

The staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Also loved the location. Only one issue. Would have loved a door for the bathroom. Haha Not a deal breaker, though.

The location was perfect and the staff was super helpfull and proactive on all requests.

The Nolitan is incredibly convenient when visiting SOHO and Little Italy area of the city.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel in a nice room and with excellent treatment and responsiveness by hotel staff. A couple of things that the hotel could do to improve the experience for guests would be (1) to reinstate the advertised daily happy hour and (2) to repair and make available the bikes that currently sit unusable in the lobby.

Great property in a great location

Fantastic price, very comfortable room and bed, stylish lobby and room, excellent AC, location for food and shopping was great. Only problem was the old TV with 2-3 working channels.

Good solid stay close to everything including subway, boutiquest and great restaurants.
