Amazing stay! My husband and I stumbled upon this place on our cross country trip and we both agreed it was one of our favorites! While it was quite expensive and we stayed in the original part of the hotel, it was still worth the stay. We also received an incentive for a discounted second night, so we ended up being there two nights. The grounds are amazing and there are so many spa pools to choose from. There is a section of the resort that’s also open to people with day passes, but there’s an entire area for hotel guests, and an adult section within. The view of the river is so nice and relaxing and you can spend all day and night there if you want. The pools are open 24/7 to hotel guests and being there late night under the stars was amazing. The temps ranged from mid 90s to around 110, in addition to the cold plunge, so there was a nice variety. There were also free activities you could participate in, as well as the additional spa services. We didn’t have any of the food options at the resort, but rather walked into town instead. The main road in town is under construction, so it might’ve been easier to eat at the hotel but we wanted to explore. Cute area with some restaurants and shopping. We’ve been to several springs resorts and this one was our favorite. We will definitely be back!
First impressions, beautiful area, in a beautiful small town, when pulling into the parking lot my family got hit with an open sewer smell. Apparently it's the mother hot spring.... I guess that the smell of hot fresh water. Staff was excellent, 10 out of 10, super friendly to the family checking in, when over-hearing conversations between staff members super friendly & polite! Breakfast was delicious, the pools are beautiful, some overlooking the rest of the resort, & some overlooking the San Juan river. I went during August of 2025, I can imagine how people love to come here during the winter to warm up with nature during the winter. They did open a new side of the pools within the resort, it only 18+ which isn't a huge problem, just giving fellow families a heads up. Otherwise the rest of the resort is free game for families.
