Awesome location, just a few minutes walk to 5th ave and central park. We stayed at higher floors, room was modern and spacious, and plenty of lamps in the room so we got the option to customize the lighting to our liking. Bathroom had Dyson hairdryer which is a huge plus, the lighting was also good. Free bottled water provided. Hallway was quiet at night during our stay even though our room was right next to the elveator. Although we did only stay there during the week day. We got to check-in early and the process was smooth. Free lounge breakfast was included with our stay, although the choices were simple they were more than enough. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Very clean & cozy. So convenient to a lot of the spots we were trying to go to. The staff was so friendly & the rooms were very cute. Loved our stay here

Enjoyed stand . Lots of great amenities. Centrally located for where we needed to be. Felt safe. Couple things… not everyone likes ‘foamy’ coffee, robes and towels NOT soft- scratchy, no safety features for bathtub- slippery.

Loved our stay at the Thompson! Close walk to Central Park, cafes and restaurants and the subway. Very convenient and safe, and we couldn’t hear any noise in our room. Will definitely stay here again!

Better housekeeping

The hotel is clean and esthetically apealing. The bed was bery comfortable, bathroom is beautiful amd comfortable. Location is fantastic; it always felt safe, it is adjacent to Carnegie Hall and in short walking diatance to MOMA, Central Park, 5th Av., etc. There's always a cab at tbe entrance and we used Uber allot never waiting more than a couple of min., The restaurant is decent - the food is tasty and the coffee is good, but the menue is rather short on options. Still my vegan wife was able to find dishes that worked for her. There are planty of good dining options in a short walking distance around the hotel and of course in a short ride distance too. To sum it up, it was a good stay for us and we'll come again on our next visit.

We loved this hotel! It was the perfect place to relax after coming in off an international flight with extreme jet lag. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is fantastic. The food was fantastic. The actual room and bathroom were fantastic.
