Check in was easy. Our room was on the main floor which made luggage handling super easy. There is a bar offering a happy hour and food. Town is a short 5 minute drive away. Really pleasant.

Quiet, good breakfast, comfortable pillows and mattress, employees very helpful.

Property was very nice. Personally think it was overpriced but probably the area. Regular parking lot but they charged $10 to park which seemed odd. Only real issue was inconsiderate guests. Teens running thru the halls at all hours.

This hotel is very nice and new. Everything is in excellent condition and the pool is HEATED which was awesome! Only about 10 minutes outside of Vail. The one downfall I saw was that the rooms have kitchenettes, which is great, but the rooms down really have anywhere to eat the food you made, especially if you have small children who cannot eat on a bed/couch/floor very easily. If you are going to have a kitchenette in the room, I think at least a small dining table is a necessity. They did have a dishwasher, which was awesome!

Room was big. Had a kitchen with a large refrigerator

Room description was not accurate. Listing showed a double sofa bed however it was just a sofa with no bed. Front desk refused to fix it or change our room because the booking was made through travelocity. Travelocity attempted to call the property but multiple phone calls went unanswered.

It’s my second time staying there and it’s always a great experience being there

The rooms were really small, especially considering the very high prices. While we paid for a king size bed, we're sure it was not really king size. We got almost no sleep, because the mattress was hard as a rock, with no "give." We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean new - no complaints

Extremely clean and modern look. Very nice and helpful staff. Heated pool, hot tub, outdoor activities, a fire pit and an open bar all located here. Highly recommend!!

Everything was awesome except for one crotchety bartender.

Very nice staff. We checked in around 1 am after finishing up a work day and they were very welcoming and quick!

We attended a wedding in Vail and stayed at Sonnenlap. We did not want to leave it as so warm and comfortable!

The suite offered everything you need with a mini kitchen and full size refrigerator. Very clean and comfortable. Do not pay extra for a room with a balcony as it is false advertising the hotel DOES NOT have any rooms with balconies.

The hotel building is beautiful in the beautiful location.

Overall, the resort was fun and had a lot to offer for that all ages, however, the room smelled like raw sewage quite often.
