This a very beautiful hotel.

Great staff great rooms

Das Hotel ist für unsere Route gut gelegen. Am Anfang der Wüste und halt der Anlaufpunkt Nummer 1, bevor man Richtung Grand Canyon fährt. Wir hatten das Fenster zum Trucker Parkplatz, was halt in der Nacht immer sehr laut war.

Fint hotell och rum. Tyvärr var personalen vi träffade i receptionen vid in- och utcheckning inte speciellt trevlig. Vi kom till hotellet ca 15.30, men fick då höra att rummet inte var färdigt, trots att incheckning var 15.00. Efter att ha väntat 15-20 minuter meddelade dock en annan personal att rummet helt plötsligt var färdigt. Samma person som vi checkade in med var även där vid utcheckning. Fick liknande bemötande då, där det mest kändes som att hon ville bli av med oss. Ingen fråga om hur vistelsen varit, eller något i övrigt att säga mer än att då var allt klart. En annan sak som drar ner betyget är att ingen i personalen hade koll på poolområdet. Var en hel del personer där, som inte bodde på hotellet, men blev insläppta av personer som bodde där. Detta trots att det står skyltar som säger att endast hotellgäster får vara där. Dessutom var det flera vuxna som var stökiga och lekte/skvätte i poolen. Så pass mycket att barnen gick upp därifrån och hoppade inte i igen förrän de vuxna gått ur. Slutligen var det flera som rökte vid poolen (inte bara cigaretter), trots rökförbud. Synd med dessa brister, då hotellet, poolen och rummet i övrigt var bra och i fint skick.

The room was clean and spacious with the dishes were dirty and we had to rewash them. There was no ice maker on the first floor nor an ice bucket. We tried the desk but after five rings it hung up. Had to walk to the reception desk and she tracked down an ice bucket and brought ice. The freezer did offer ice trays. There was no luggage rack or a full length mirror. The vanity area is also very small for a suite - only 12” on one side and 4” on the other. The lighting is also a bit sparse and low functioning. Felt dark after sunset. One outlet didn’t work. The lobby was open and had a bar. There’s a self checkout small market too. Staff was very friendly. WiFi was good. Wish that they had a better dog area. Congress to be found and the gravel areas have sharp plants that kept catching my dog ears.

Très bel hôtel pour la première étape de notre roadtrip. Nous avons apprécié le confort de la literie, le coin piscine/jacuzzi. Le petit déjeuner est bien achalandé et varié (salé sucré). Le personnel est très accueillant. Il est situé en face des outlets.

Extremely clean property and rooms. Updated modern rooms with all the convenience of home. All appliances and utensils. Excellent customer service. Enjoyed my stay. I will be back.

Heads up about the location, I stopped for one quick night in Barstow on my way to So.cal and when came out in the morning my car window was smashed and laying on the ground and my car was stolen. It was parked in the front of the hotel where you would think burglars would be deterred by cameras. Not the hotels fault, but travelers should beware to take extra safety precautions and hotel should provably invest in more security options. Other than that the stay/hotel was fine.

It was nice but the pool n Barstow was in the 100’s n pool was down but didn’t say on app very disappointed on that
