The room is in horrible condition. The coffee maker didn't work. The air conditioner never worked (even after someone came to reset it) in the sitting area. The bathroom has the stripping peeling off and the doors are weathered. The beds were made well tho.

Rooms were clean and complimentary water our rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh linens and towels each day. Location wasn't all that great.

It just felt like everything was super close because of the location of the hotel

It is a great central location. The staff are friendly. The rooms are average. The fridge was not very cold, and alarm clock was missing. But overall pretty good room.

Like the family room that accommodated us comfortably.

Staff are not friendly. Front desk staff acts like you are bothering them of you need something. Breakfast was terrible!

They were amazing and easy to check in. Very kind people who were willing to help you with any questions or concerns.

The Tryp is in a great location. 3 minute walk to Madison Square Garden or Penn Station. Great food in the area. I was disappointed by the very poor check-in experience. Only 1 team member at the desk. And he was on the phone for a solid 20 minutes ignoring the people waiting in line. We could hear every word, it was not hotel business. In fairness the other staff we met over the next few days were very attentive and friendly. We had a room problem; the a/c did not work. It just recirculated the air without chilling it. The room was never under 76f. Sometimes as high as 78. Too warm. The front lobby sent someone to fix it twice. Neither fix worked. Loved the location, but the a/c issue is a deal-breaker, we won’t return.

Personnel froid. Nous n'avons pas été accueilli dignement avec 3 enfants à 3 heures du matin . Nous avons dû attendre 10h avant de récupérer notre chambre . Je me suis rendu compte que nous avons été sous classe par rapport à la Chambre que j'avais acheté j'ai dû insister lourdement pour récupérer notre chambre. Expedia n'a pas réagi rapidement . Au bout de deux jours j'ai réussi à avoir la chambre pour laquelle que j'ai payé . J'ai été débité des charges supplémentaires qui n'apparaissaient pas au moment de l'achat .

Clean, and quiet

I didn't appreciate that the hotel charges a $150.00 hold upon check-in. In addition, they keep $27 dollars for a "resort fee" when there's not even a pool or any other amenities of the sort. Also, I paid the $150 with my credit card, got a receipt and then later that night they tried to charge an addition $150 to my card on file. Other than that, the location is ideal.

I've stayed at Tryp before and had a good stay so decided to try it again with my family. I booked two rooms and requested adjoining, but did not get adjoining. Not a huge deal, but would have been convenient. The air conditioner in both of our rooms "needed to be reset", but no one came to do so. My husband is handy and got it going for a bit, but it conked out again. The rooms were nearly 80 degrees, which is way too hot for a menopausal woman with hot flashes! Also, there was no hot water by 8:30am in the morning.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est vraiment idéal pour découvrir Manhattan. Nous avons eu chambre spacieuse et très propre. La possibilité de déposer ses bagage avant et après le séjour est vraiment un plus. Petit bémol concernant la ventilation très bruyante que nous avons malheureusement dû laisser en fonctionnement à cause des fortes chaleur durant notre séjour.

The breakfast options & food was good & service was great. Friendly staff.

Room had a lot of damage on the doors, mold in the bathroom. Seemed low cleanliness standards. Staff was unhelpful and dismissive.

Super emplacement! Proche du metro. Beaucoup de visite se font à pieds. Chambre familiale super pratique et spacieuse pour NY.
