Azerai La Residence Hue

The purpose of our trip to Vietnam this time was to stay at this hotel, which we had long wanted to experience. It took us about three hours from Hoi An, but it was truly worth it. The hotel is magnificent, beautifully renovated from an old building, and its solid, luxurious presence is something that could hardly be built today. The room we stayed in was spacious and located at the center of the property, offering stunning views that allowed us to overlook the entire building. The scenery from our room was simply breathtaking. As a special highlight of our stay, we reserved the Royal Court Cuisine dinner at the hotel restaurant. We dressed in royal costumes and enjoyed a unique dining experience at a beautifully prepared setting. Each dish was crafted with great care, and not only the flavors but also the presentation and atmosphere allowed us to fully enjoy the meal with all five senses. It was one of the most fascinating and memorable experiences we have ever had. The staff member who served us during dinner was exceptionally kind. They eased our nervousness, encouraging us to fully embrace the roles of “king and princess,” which made the evening even more enjoyable. They also explained the dishes in detail and kindly shared recommendations of places to visit in Hue, which we truly appreciated. It’s a beautiful hotel with history. The decor is impeccable to small details. The service staff are good, too.

Hardware: the hotel is classic as a colonial style, good condition and spacious. Software: reception and the welcome manager are nice and friendly. They gave us a lot of local visit advices and logistic suggestion, even though we didn’t choose to use their service. It is convenience to take taxi (US$1) to the centre for dinning, by walk is 30 mins.
