Dendro Gold Nha Trang

I found the Dendro Gold a great location as it's 2mins walking to a couple of brilliant local bar/restaurants. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Nobody seems to use the hotel pool and gym much, or the restaurant for dinner though. But with great local options it's fine. Would happily stay here again!

Staff were excellent, location not bad, buffet breakfast good

It was alright. Very noisy, constant tour groups and chaotic breakfast area. Should have signs to noise level down. They like to shout in the corridor. Lifts take ages when there are lots of people staying, as lifts are slow. Dining staff and great. Recepionists alright. Some more helpful than others. Balcony not worth calling balcony

Breakfast was not that good

This is not 4-star hotel. It’s just 2.5-3- star hotel. The bathroom is small and the design of bathtub is bad because it can’t lock the water inside the bathtub but spilling out a lot on the floor. It’s really inconvenient. However, the price is fair. I got what I paid for.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming & always ready to help. The rooms were clean, the pool is outstanding and great breakfast buffet. Had a great experience. However, just 1 thing, they provide only 2 bottles of 350ml water for each room everyday, which is very less for 2 people, specially in a hot & humid place where you need to stay hydrated, so an advice to all please get more bottles of water from outside.

Older hotel in need of some TLC not too far from the beach, but far enough away not to be bothered by noise. The -: Very slow Internet in the evening, worst lunch in 50 days in Asia. Non-existent buffet staff, serves powdered juice instead of fruit juice while we are in Vietnam which is the paradise of fruits, little food choice, schedule from 630 to 930, to 915, closing of lights ... we chose not to have lunch at the hotel when it was free, because tired of eating bread. Noisy rooms. Difficulty discussing with staff in the lobby. That employees take a "rating" on tours and activities, I understand. But if the receptionist tells us that the airport-hotel shuttle is 350kVND and the van driver charges us 200k VND, I think there is abuse. The +: Position of the hotel, comfortable bed although old. Won't be going back. Lots of hotel choices in the area at similar rates and with up-to-date photos to see what we are renting.

Enjoyable place to stay

The hotel was good, the rooms were clean, the staff did their best even those not speaking English. We’re not complaining, you get what you paid for, CN$ 26 a day, in general, very good for that price!!!

No likely to reconmend no F&B oulet nearby and poor maintainance.

The room was nice and the location was just a few minutes walk from the beach! Nice and quiet. Make sure you get to breakfast early before its gone. Also, Fiona at the front desk was AMAZING! She was so genuinely sweet and helpful. Thank you!

Nice property, clean room and nice view. Would recommend this hotel.

room.was clean and comfortable. service really deserves five stars. the front office is very helpful and friendly, specifically Fiona, who act professionally and can see her passion in serving cuatomer. breakfast was nice too, wide selection. the restaurant supervisor pham uyen also did excellent job in making sure customer enjoy their breakfast. only con is the hotel is not too close to center, you need to walk for 15 minutes. but it is very close to beach.

Rooms are okay ....check in and restaurant staff very good and courteous. Especially Ms. Nhi , waitress in the restaurant, very polite friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant manager , Coby , was helpful and very pleasant. Made a huge difference at our stay at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent!

The location of the hotel is not on the beach. Everything about the hotel was average but our waitress, Nhi was excellent.

Dendro Gold would have to be at the top of the list out of all of the hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. Local construction noise can be heard from some rooms however it did it not severely interrupt our stay. The room sizes are very adequate and pleasing and the bathrooms are clean. Average water pressure/drainage but this is common across Vietnam. Each morning at breakfast we were fortunate enough to be looked after by Mr Kien. He advised us that breakfast was more catered more for the Chinese tourists however he took great care of us, making us special hot coffee, eggs made to order and delivered to us, and even brought us fruit and yoghurt. VIP service! We originally only booked to stay one night but as we were comfortable in the hotel we chose to stay on 2 more nights. Trang, the manager at the front counter helped us to sort a more pleasant room away from the noise for our next 2 nights and even organised a complimentary fruit plate while we waited to change rooms! Unfortunately the following day my husband woke up very ill and needed a doctor, Trang organised one right away to visit him at the hotel. As we waited in our room, Trang and Mr Kien visited to check up on us with hot ginger tea! Amazing! Unfortunately, my husband needed to go to hospital. Trang then organised a taxi to take us there. Absolutely above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough. If we ever return to Nha Trang we will be staying here again.

Hotel was very clean and close to beach. Our time here was also made more accomodating by there staff specifically Nhi. Really appreciate how informative she was !
