My family and I stayed three nights at the La Siesta Classic Hang Thung. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted being brought to a seating area and served tea and snacks while they processed our check-in. The rooms are nice but smaller with simple furniture, nothing too extravagant. I would liken the accommodations to a contemporary European hotel in an older city which suited us fine. I would not label the hotel accommodations as 5 star by western standards, it is more akin to a boutique 4 star hotel, very comfortable and clean. The room AC (very important if you go in July like we did) was very effective! As part of our package we also received the daily breakfast buffet which was quite good and worth the add. It served made to order pho, and a premade buffet of both western and Asian foods. We had daily house keeping and the room was spotless. Much like other hotels in or near Hanoi’s old quarter, the property itself is not very large but the location is convenient to many different attractions. We generally walked everywhere but catching a Grab was easy/cheap enough as well. The location does afford one to walk, shop, dine in the old quarter at any time with little effort. One other thing we enjoyed about the property is that it is on the edge of the old quarter which made it a little more quiet. The staff was very attentive, I would say they strived to provide 5 star service which was very much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

The whole experience from check in, dinner, spa, breakfast to check out, every staff was very nice and provide the best hospitality. I really enjoyed my stay.

Good location in Hanoi Old Quarter. Room is clean and comfortable. Service is excellent and very friendly. During my stay I would like to say thank Ms Tram Ngoc and she’s so great and initiative to do me a favour such as buy water puppet show tickets. Also she give me a good advice on where to go for local food and also French restaurant. I highly recommend you to stay in La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for visiting Hanoi.
