We are grateful that Novotel was our comfort zone when we traveled to Hanoi. Staff was kind, eager to help, and approachable. Eventhough Staff was having a hard time speaking English they tried their Best to accommodate you. It was a very convenient location. We felt safe and comfortable staying into this hotel. However, if you go for a tour check the tour agency first because this is away from old quarter. Overall, thank you Novotel Hanoi for the great assistance while we enjoyed our holidays.

When I checked in with prepaid, the front desk insisted I did not pay. Even after I showed him my receipt, he still insisted I never paid. He was very rude and impatient about it.
When I checked out, they then said I already paid. The check out staff was very friendly and polite.
I have stayed here a few times before and the check in staff were always very friendly. Except this time, the check in staff was very rude.

Reception desk service was not acceptable. They were not courteous at accommodations. Not admitting their mistake in reservation even after correcting. Hotel was excellent except their staff needs training.
