Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. George and Linda could not have been more helpful, phoning a local GP and arranged for my husband to visit an hour later, and offering their wifi connection and a room to use for a Teams meeting when work sadly followed us away (not needed, the guest wifi was fine).
The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, especially the bed. Breakfasts are superb, perfectly cooked, loads of choice and excellent coffee. Lots of great chat and stories with George as he served breakfast. You really felt as if nothing was too much trouble.
We were lucky with the weather, and the garden is a fantastic place to sit.
We only realised after booking that Glangwili Mansion has won several tourism awards, and I am not surprised. We could not recommend it highly enough.

There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. George and Linda could not have been more helpful, phoning a local GP and arranged for my husband to visit an hour later, and offering their wifi connection and a room to use for a Teams meeting when work sadly followed us away (not needed, the guest wifi was fine).

Beautiful quiet location and the owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very large room and very comfortable chair in the bedroom. On the minus side the nearest eating places are a short drive away. Nice small lake next door.

Linda and George are amazing hosts. They make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. Our room was lovely, overlooking their beautiful garden. The breakfast, freshly prepared, is a gourmet treat!

Fantastic 5 Star B&B in very different Location. Get away from it all in absolute Luxury, awesome views . The rooms are Hugh and Luxurious with complementing En-Suites not matched in top London Hotels. The best cooked Breakfast by Linda top class. Well done to George & Linda the Owners,so Professional and Friendly Couple.

Our hosts were most welcoming and our room was a fabulous place to relax. The bed was super comfortable and the bath was extra deep. Breakfast was gorgeous and the location is so peaceful. Wish we'd had more time there but this visit was just a one night stop-over - have to look at correcting that in the future!

Stayed for 4 nights and wished it could have been more, Linda and George were perfect hosts and catered for our every need, the rooms are fabulous as was the dining area and the breakfast delightful as well.
If in the area again i would not hesitate to book again, a lovely couple a beutiful place and the rooms of superb standard, couldn't fault it at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having travelled widely for several years and staying at hundreds of hotels, this is the place I always imagined must exist somewhere. The location, service and facilities can not be bettered, book with confidence you will not regret it.

Spent a night there a little while ago. Great hosts, who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk into the property. The room was very large; so was the bathroom. Otherwise, the surroundings are quaint and cozy. Perfect place to relax and take advantage of a restful stay. Breakfast was very good in a very comfortable dining lounge. Could have spent more time there. The only thing was the dust on the bed frame, which I had difficulty with. Looks like this may not be done regularly although the room was, in and of itself, nicely laid out and tidy.

This is a very nice and relaxing place to stay. It is about seven miles from Carmerthen, where you can enjoy peacefulness as well as a modern beautiful place to stay! George was an awesome host! For breakfast we enjoyed our eggs from chickens he raised himself while relaxing to Lionel Richie in the background! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
