We stayed in the yurt for 2 nights.
Positive first :
Secluded and quiet
Clean
The communal area have everything you need for cooking and showering
Lovely walk through the forest to the yurt with lights
Toilets and sink are not too far and comfortable with motion lights
We had 4g signal all day
Extra blanket, pillows and towels available
Plenty of wood to burn
Plenty of storage
Lovely complimentary welsh cakes and two bottles of tasty local lemonade on arrival
Negatives :
Directions - not the best unfortunately, especially if you are staying in yurt-we struggled to find the place itself and then the yurts are further and with different working farm paths crossing, it's easy to take the wrong turn
If you are booking the third party - contact the place itself directly for instructions about keys and access the day before as communication is not best when you get there
The yurt doesn't retain the heat for long, as soon as the logs burnt out it gets nippy, I brought extra blanket and we needed it
Could do with a small coat rack to hang clothes inside as we had to put our coats on the floor instead
No spoons in the yurt for tea and coffee
Could do with some wood planks around the path to the toilet as the road gets very muddy after rain
No pubs or other places to eat or drink close by
Overall we'd happily come back, but maybe when it's hotter and drier, or to stay in one of other options available .
