Best B&B we have stayed in. First class facilities, accommodation and breakfast in a good location. Would highly recommend.

Everything about the B&B was fantastic. It is a beautifull place in a very pretty and peaceful location with outstanding accommodation and delicious breakfast. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful or more friendly. They made us feel very welcome. There is a pub with good food and real ale 5 minutes walk and another one 10 minutes away with an excellent carvery. We will visit again!

We had a fantastic stay over the August bank holiday weekend at Lon Y Traeth bed & breakfast. It was spotlessly clean and Annie and Gerry were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was outstanding, we especially loved the porridge and full cooked breakfast to set you up for tripping around the beautiful Island of Anglesey. Ideally positioned for Red Wharfe Bay where we enjoyed the Boathouse restaurant. Enjoyed sitting in the garden eating Annie’s homemade baking. We would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed for two nights and we would rate Lon Y Traeth 11 out of 10 if we could! This was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Annie and Gerry were amazing hosts, who genuinely care about their guests. They offered my partner, who requires a gluten free diet, a fantastic choice for breakfast and even provided sweet treats for us in the room. The king site itself was beautifully decorated, with many home comforts. We felt the hosts had thought of everything for their guests and we found the whole experience extremely relaxing. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Room (and home) Spotlessly clean and very comfortable- Gorgeous bathroom- probably best room I’ve stayed in! Homemade biscuits when we arrived and coffee machine in room! Lovely friendly Host and the breakfast very very nice - you couldn’t ask for better would highly recommend! Excellent

Excellent Property and Service

Second to none for comfort and cleanliness, will definately recommend to anyone looking for a b&b. Gerry and Annie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, we've even booked again for next year xx

There was nothing not to like about this property. We were met at the door by the owners Annie and Gerry who gave us a friendly welcome. Great place to relax or visit the areas of the island that interested us. Annie and Gerry had a good knowledge of the island and helped whenever we asked. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and every day we were arrived back in our room a little treat had been left. Lovely place,lovely couple and will definitely be returning hopefully later in the year.

Recently completed a 3 night stay in the king size room with my partner. The room was absolutely immaculate and spacious with lots of extra touches such as a coffee machine which was absolutely lovely. The hosts were amazing and nothing seemed too much trouble, we were spoilt with lovely Welsh cakes upon arrival back to our room on 2 of the days as well as little chocolates and treats. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and kept us full all day. Can’t recommend highly enough, had a marvellous time and we’ll definitely be back.

Everything was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much selection. Room was wonderful, everything you needed and more. Very clean. Bed was so comfy. Annie and Gerry were lovely and made us feel at home. Thank you!

What a wonderful two night stay. So looked after and cared for during our stay. One of the best.

Fantastic hosts Annie and Gerry made us feel special in the way we were treated from start to finish, lovely accommodation and excellent breakfast, couldn’t of asked for any better, nothing went amiss, would stay again and would highly recommend to anybody.

Lon y Traet is an absolute little gem. Annie and Gerry are the most perfect and attentive hosts, without being obtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble during our 3 night stay and they’d thought of just about everything we could ever want to make for a perfect stay. Our en-suite double room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Lots of little personal touches like Lindt pillow chocolates and daily treats on the tea tray. As well as a great range of tea bags, there was also concentrated squash sachets and a coffee machine with a large choice of coffee and chocolate pods that were re-stocked each day. Fresh milk and ice cold filtered water were provided each day too. The bathroom was very spacious and bright, with quality toiletries, flannels and thick bath robes provided. There was a basket of new items to help ourselves to if we’d forgotten anything - toothbrushes, shaving kit, bath sponge, sewing kit etc. The highlight of our stay had to be the breakfast. The menu choice was substantial and generous. There were choices to suit every taste and appetite, from full (or any part of) English, freshly made waffles and pancakes, warm croissants and Danish pastries, toast, cereal, yoghurt, and the most amazing fresh fruit salad ever. Taste and quality were exceptional. Annie and Gerry should feel immensely proud of the wonderfully perfect experience they provide for their guests and their outstanding reviews are very well deserved

A great location and certainly a place to stay for those wanting a break with peace and tranquility. The personal touches to help with your visit to "Lon Y traeth " are far beyond what you'd expect at a B&B. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, with a beach that doesn't seem to end. We will definitely be back soon. Gerry and Annie 5* place.

My husband, son and I recently spent 7 nights here. It has to be, without a doubt the best B&B we have ever stopped in. Annie and Gerry were incredible hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The room was large with an extremely comfortable bed and additional double sofa bed. The bathroom was large with two sinks, a free standing bath and separate shower. Annie and Gerry have thought of everything - various different types of local shower/ bath products, bath robes, nespresso machine (and a kettle as well!) , fresh milk and a shared fridge. Additional really lovely touches from chocolates our pillows every night and home made cakes to board games for our son. Annie and Gerry made us feel so welcome. One evening all local eateries were fully booked so we had a takeaway and Annie kindly allowed us to eat in the dining room. When we got back the dining room was all set up with plates, cutlery and iced water. Breakfast was the best we have ever had. We ordered via a menu the evening before and the choice was incredible - from full English breakfast to home made waffles and pancakes. We were able to choose a time for breakfast and the service of the breakfast was timed & cooked to perfection. The homemade waffles and pancakes were absolutely delicious. On the final night we asked our young son what he wanted for breakfast the next morning and he replied “everything”, such was the quality of the food. There is absolutely no doubt we will be back !

A fabulous stay from start to finish. We were welcomed by Annie and Gerry who both immediately made us feel at home. Our bedroom was large and tastefully furnished, the bathroom was also oversized and like the bedroom everything was of the highest quality. The bathroom had two sinks a stand alone pebble bath and a separate walk in shower. There was no less than 5 different bath oils supplied. Thick towels and bath robes, complete the luxury bathing indulgence. Our first nights arrival meant the local pub was fully booked, as we didn’t want to drive, Annie kindly suggested a take away from the local Chinese, we ate that in the dining room, where they had supplied all cutlery and crockery along with glasses and ice, just one of the helpful, individual touches that made our trip special. Breakfast was ordered from a menu the evening before and was again of the highest quality and cooked to perfection, Gerry gave us tips on places to visit each morning. Sadly all good things must come to an end, and all too soon we had to say farewell, Annie had baked us Welsh cakes for our journey home, they were superb and yet another example of this couple’s wonderful individual and outstanding care for their guests.

Lon Y Traeth is a wonderful place! We had a lovely room with nice views which was extremely clean and comfortable. Annie and Gerry were perfect hosts and thought of everything to ensure you had a perfect stay! Breakfast was cooked to perfection and Annie’s cakes were delicious! We will definitely visit again!
