Staff very friendly however not enough to cope with breakfast . Would have liked freshly cut fruit to go with the yoghurt and tea pots for the tea. Parking could be an issue. Overall a pleasant stay.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. great value hotel

With luck there will be few hot days, but without air conditioning or fans the hot days are miserable in a small room. Especially because the authorities have limited the degree the window can be open.

Parking is 1st come 1st served and it seems like half the village uses the hotel car park so youll need to park down the road and pay for overnight parking

Only stayed for the night, room was big, clean and comfortable, lovely view of the river. Hotel is a lovely old building with character, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Nice stay in conveniently located hotel. Reasonably sized car park but can fill up quickly and on street parking not good. Only single-glazed windows (presumably because hotel is in a conservation area?) so external noise levels quite high at times

Car park rammed, had to park a distance away and pay. Room very small, bathroom very dated. Only one person serving at bar when busy. Too much wrong for the price quoted, will not be booking this hotel again

Ideally placed hotel. Good for a short stay (we stayed a couple of nights), breakfast was buffet style and bacon, beans etc were hot not just warm like may hotels we have stayed in. We had a double bed room which was comfortable, bathroom was small but served its purpose.

Good location. The room with nice views of Llangollen.

My room was as far away as you could walk in the old building and the shower was small, so narrow I had to suck it in bigtime and turn sideways to get in and out while protecting the little fella, but it served its purpose. Breakfast was great, so much to choose from. Good bar too. The staff were brilliant very accomodating. I would go back but get a different room.

Excellent hotel all staff friendly and helpful

Stayed for 3 nights, hotel is old but clean. Breakfast was nice, bar was nice. Car park got busy on the Friday, only space left was under a tree. Next morning the front left hand side and windscreen of my car was caked in bird mess, horrible thick black filth. I got a bucket of water from reception and was able to scrape the thick mess off my windscreen but had to wait until I got home to clean off the rest of the mess - went to a local handwash and had to pay a bit extra for the clean. Never seen such a filthy mess! So nice hotel but dont park under the tree, especially the end nearest the hotel.

Old charm building next to the river Buffet breakfast good They just need to keep an eye on restock the trays of food save people waiting but on the whole enjoyed our stay

Old worldly room a little dated but clean and staff are very nice and friendly

Staff were great the place was quiet and the breakfast was excellent, first time i been to town and found it friendly will be back
