Reflected the price

The bar area was good nice and friendly staff Food was and reasonably priced I could'nt have the full breakfast due to having to be out early but i did have some cornflakes and toast and a sausage sandwich to take away The breakfast did look good that others had..The bedroom was disappointing The smell from the drain s in the bathroom ,mould in the shower area due to lack of ventilation,and dirty shower .No bathroom ameanities ,no soap or anything only towels.The kettle had to sit on the floor due to lack of socket and the television. was on the wall and the lead just about reached the socket on an adjacent wall. Bed was comfortable and clean

Great location, good old friendly village pub with well equipped, comfortable room and nice food. Shops and eating places nearby if the pub's food doesn't do it for you - but I can't see why it wouldn't. Nice people running the place - very welcoming, also nice and quiet. My second visit, and it won't be my last

Nice to be in an annexe so no noise from the pub. Accomodation was good for the price paid and the pub was an excellent local and well patronised. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful old pub, accommodation quiet and comfortable. Easy walking distance into the town. Friendly people.

Staff found to be very friendly and welcoming. Food was very good. Service was excellent. Rooms are a little dated but confortable and clean.

For the price cant fault the room, bed was comfortable. Issue was with the pub for meals, be warned if staying here and wanting food may be worth booking table in advance. We arrived at 5pm to find food started being served at 6pm and there was no table available until 8pm! Not the best with two hungry teenagers..

Staff and service were excellent, prompt check in, and very friendly black lab pub dog! Rooms were tired - mostly clean but shower grout needs a good clean, bathroom radiator needs rust sanded off and fresh paint. Mattress old, lumpy and too hard. Pub noise till very late. Breakfasts excellent and fast, plenty of food, good coffee.

The bedrooms are comfortable and basic . The bathrooms could do with being updated

Check-in fine; room was comfortable, if a little bit too warm. Excellent breakfast. No evening meal but the Red Lion just a hundred metres or so way did a very good meal.

Nothing wrong with the property but we had extremely noisy neighbours staying above us that kept us awake!!!

Business stay over. Ideal location and good car park close to the room.
