We had a good stay, wouldn't return. Weekend breakfast timing is 0800-1000 but we were offered 0700-0900 as the only people in the hotel and the owner had other plans. We asked for 0830 and he put 0800. Later we asked for closer to 0900 and we were told that not possible, we saw them drive off after serving breakfast. The room was good, loose floor tiles in bathroom and only one bath mat despite a shower and separate bath. No snacks and poor selection of hot drinks in the room. Hotel is clearly dated with thin walls and doors, we could hear music in the kitchen in the morning. Difficult to get to plug sockets. Lovely quiet location and Llandrindod is not far away.

The shower did not drain, which resulted in the bathroom becoming flooded with water. The light in the seating area would not work. The pillows were very thin and so was the mattress. Overall a poor experience.

We’re stayed in a lot of places around Llandrindod wells while back visiting family. This is one of the very few places we would happily go back to! Nice quiet area, a little bit out of town… but you should expect this, you’ve booked a stay in mid wales! Great breakfast, solid night sleep (although the mattress could maybe do with an upgrade if we’re being picky). Definitely will go back again

Great place to stay in the country

The property is an adapted farmhouse set in Fields fronted by a large pond with ducks, moorhens and other wildlife. It has easy access to marked walking paths. Our room was at the top of the building and one of the most expensive with a separate seating área off the bedroom. Breakfast was adéquate rather than special but we were there with no other guests. Décor is functional and comfortable. The B&B would be fine for short stays but might be a bit basic for longer holidays

Great stay overnight. Very quiet and comfortable room and bed. Didn’t use the facilities or have breakfast but plenty of both on offer. Staff friendly

Excellent B & B with comfy and good sized room. Super breakfast and great rural location but close to Builth and Llandrindod. Highly recommended.

A quiet place to stay close to the town for evening meal. Easy parking , follow the brown signs, easy to find then.

Hotelier left me stranded at 2330, hotels sold me the room at 2300 but check-in hd closed, the hotelier could not have been any less helpful, very rude very abrupt and I would not recommend giving your money to this hotel.

Lovely location

Very friendly and welcoming owner from the start. Breakfast choice very good. A simple,clean and easy place to stay with great views of the Welsh countryside around it.

Idyllic location but property tired and staff reluctantly friendly.

Nice setting albeit remote. Friendly host with good local knowledge for restaurants etc

Mirror light not working. Loose tap and towel holder. Hard bed.

Lovely B&B, very friendly host and great location. We had a twin room which was great but the mattress on one of the beds was a little bit uncomfortable
