Super cute property with lots of amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable suite. Loved the balcony. Great breakfast. Loved Conwy. Small but charming town. Castle is awesome and right there!!

A very central location within Conwy, just steps from the train station and a two minute walk from Conwy Castle.

Whenever we stay in Conwy we always stay at Y Capel. Lovely rooms, central and with guaranteed parking

Many positives and the only reason I am scoring 3/5 overall is that the mattresses need to be seriously upgraded. Room 5 mattress was brutal… hard… springs pressing in your back/side. Not a good sleep.

Y Capel has been fitted out beautifully and to a high standard. We stayed in one of the upper floor rooms which was large and still has the original wooden beams that formed the chapel ceiling. Our only gripe would be the mattress was not the comfiest but apart from that we were very happy and would happily stay there again.

Beautiful property right in the center of town. Easy walk to the Castle, restaurants, shops and river trail.

Friendly and clean.

We stayed one night in the chapel in room 1 downstairs, room spacious, clean and tidy. Bed was really comfy and good selection of tea/coffee and biscuits. No view from the widow but plenty of light and you can use the communal area if you wanted more space. Breakfast across the road at the Erskine arms was very good, a good choice and good service, we also had our evening meal there which was really good, husband enjoyed the cask ales. Easy walk to shops and the quay, the Liverpool arms along from the smallest house was quirky and nice for a drink later on. Parking is available nxt to the chapel which was amazing for Conwy. We will be back.

A really excellent small hotel, ideally located in the centre of town and with easy access to the Erskine Arms opposite for breakfast and dinner. Room was really comfortable with all facilities, including plenty of tea and coffee available at all times, and well equipped. Room was well maintained and kept extremely clean by the efficient staff Almost impossible to find anything to criticise with the hotel or pub so definitely well recommended.

Clean, friendly and great food.

On our trip throughout Wales, this was one of our favorite hotels! The town is charming, and the Y Capel is so cool! Rooms are unique (a former church) but comfortable-- and we were so grateful for air-con in the unexpectedly hot summer. Would happily stay there again and definitely recommend!
