Stay 1 night as a business trip, firstly the location is awesome situated in a small village right next to a river, there is plenty of onsite parking. The rooms are very spacious and the beds really comfortable. The property is under new management and the attention to detail is second to none, they really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The evening meal was fantastic, freshly cooked and very large portions. The pizzas are huge:). And reasonably priced. Had a fantastic nights sleep and the breakfast was delicious again there was plenty to eat and kept me going the whole day. All in all a very friendly and accommodating place to stay that won’t break the bank.

An excellent location by the lovely river with a large beer garden.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels were good quality. A very good shower room. Shower gel and shampoos were provided. Unfortunately the room was very hot but we were staying in the middle of a heatwave so little could be done about this. We had our own fan with us.
The breakfast was excellent and was cooked to order and very well presented. We did not have an evening meal.
Nick and Clare were excellent hosts and very welcoming. They appear to be doing all they could to make our stay (and the pub) a success.
Good value for the price.
