The tour (guided by the knowledgeable & ever affable Anthony) showed and taught me things abt Singapore I never knew, despite having grown up here. For eg, did you know that the Botanic Gardens we all know n love were not Singapore's first botanic gardens? Or where the Peranakans moved to live when they decided to shift away from the more populated areas during Singapore's early days? Each neighborhood, nook n cranny, belies a history (not to mention stories) richer than we could ever imagine/know. Thank you to Anthony and the team for enriching us!

I’m happy with the guide’s knowledge & expertise. But the shopping at the Chinatown doesn’t really go well with the subject. To my surprise, at the end we were served with a small bowl of laksa containing white thick beehoon with 3 very tiny booger fishballs! The ending spoiled my whole good experience. I believe no one reflects the food we took as the guide was given the total different & good food far away from us!

It was great! Enjoy the trip, food and drinks. Not forgetting the tour guide. Gives clear instruction and history of the place. Good!

Didn’t get a wow experience as the tour was mainly about looking at facades of buildings and a bit of street art. Lunch was more like a snack and not reflective of a peranakan lunch.

It was an interesting experience. Get to know more about Peranakan heritage which I never knew.

Overall is good but sadly the food is too pathetic. Just a bowl of laksa, one tiny bit of kueh, ginger water (water with a slice of ginger, no taste) n longan drink.

Adeline was a super guide, experienced, knowledgeable and took care of us well. The food was so disappointing!! At least a bento of a variety of peranakan dishes was expected.

Lunch a bit too simple. Just a bowl of laksa.

It was a well guided tour by Andrew, our dedicated tour guide, well versed of Singapore history. Route was good, tour was pleasant and time spent. All good! 👍🏻😁

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Certainly a more interesting way to learn about Singapore history than from my secondary school textbooks. Safe-distancing was practiced throughout the tour. He injected real-life stories of nyonya and baba living in these houses, which I find endearing. Enjoyed the tour and the yummy laksa at the end of the tour.

The tour guide was very passionate about sharing his knowledge and his experiences with us. Even though the tour had to continue in the heavy downpour, our spirits were not dampened in the slightest.
