Only has A/C units in main room. The bedroom only had fan. But it is an older building so not surprised. Clive's was fantastic. Try the Empress G&T, very visually impressive and tasty too! Steak and Frites happy hour was delicious! Roof top dining great view, dinner was average.

Our go-to hotel when visiting Victoria. We stay there 3 or 4 times a year and they never disappoint. Front desk, housekeeping and courtesy van drivers are always great. Clive’s Bar is great for a night cap as well!

Starting to show it's age. Rooms haven't been updated in years. We've gone a few times and honestly it keeps getting dirtier or should I say a lack of care. Front desk seemed little unprofessional. I guess you get what ypu pay for. Honestly this is our last time staying here.

Very helpful and friendly staff, always keen to help and give useful advice. The room was well equipped and quite spacious. The food and cocktails in both bars/restaurants were lovely, highly recommend, with a good choice and selection. The hotel was situated in a good location and within walking distance of all local attractions.

It was so nice to be close to downtown. The substitute air conditioner/ fans worked ok but it was only June.

We didn’t use the restaurant because of our itinerary, and there is a very good Starbucks just down the street. Great location for walking to shopping, museums, restaurants. We had an issue with the toilet that was promptly fixed. Great staff!

Great location in the downtown Victoria area. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, and shopping. The room was large, clean, and very well maintained. The Front desk staff were excellent.

Everything is good. The only reason I gave 4 star is the wait time for lifts are long. The breakfast booking is not easy to get, a little weird response from the staff. Rest all are good.
