Great room, lovely outdoor lounge.

Clean room and friendly staff.

This hotel was okay, I guess, but extremely overpriced for what it was. I wouldn't call it rundown but it was definitely dated. The room was clean and comfortable but the view wasn't that great (we were on a lower floor), toilet handle and sink drain were broken, and the sliding door barely worked. Carpets and hallways were but we could see where they were doing construction, so maybe that was fixed on other floors. There was also a weird thing where they were unable to take any of my credit cards and gave me a hard time, but when I called my bank afterwards, the bank said the cards were fine and showed no declines (and they worked everywhere else in Kingston). I don't know if they're just charging a "waterfront" premium or what, but we stayed here on a Around-Lake-Ontario trip and this was the most expensive hotel with the worst experience.

Our Room was very clean,Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, parking was secure and safe.

Parking is too expensive. Breakfasts are too expensive. Better coffee and snacks should be available. Guides to Kingston and any special deals should be made available. Water is not hot enough. Should be clarified if two rooms are adjoining.

Hotel room, staff, amenities were great 5 star. Balcony not cleaned in a while despite website stating cleaner regularly by staff. Bugs are expected right on the water but had not been cleaned this season it apoears

The property was clean and close to everything. We loved the harbour view room, especially for viewing the Canada Day fireworks! Close to many pubs and all of the Canada Day activities.

You can’t ask for a better place if you want to enjoy the waterfront. You park (paying parking across the hotel: $30 per 24 hours) and can explore on foot. The hotel was very nice. Clean, amazing location, accessible for wheelchair users. They even accept dogs, which is a big bonus. I will rebook there if I go back to Kingston. The on-site restaurant was ok for breakfast, but really good for dinner. We tried the chowder, the fish and chip and the beef burger. All excellent. There are plenty of restaurants close enough to go by foot, and a good variety of type of cuisine. I highly recommend the Wooden Heads Gourmet Pizza. They make true Italian pizza. The hotel is right by the marina, perfect if you want to do a Thousand Island excursion. The little park by the waterfront (Confederation Park I think) is accessible by wheelchair. The touristic area is small, but definitely worth seeing. And it is definitely worth paying to have the harbour view.

Great location Walkable to all shops

Our experience with this hotel was less than satisfactory due to them not returning my call early in enough so that I would not be charged for two nights instead of one. We didn’t even book this hotel initially- we were moved over by another hotel as they were hosting evacuees. No one returned my call - and we were charged double the amount that we initially were charged per night. They didn’t even try to make things better when my husband arrived by offering a dinner voucher. And we still had to pay for parking! Ridiculous.
