Radisson Astana is better

Nothing, everything was o.k.

I travel to Sudbury 2 or 3 times a year and this has become my 'go to' hotel for several reasons. The check in is courteous and quick, the rooms are clean and well maintained, the on site restaurant has great service and food at a reasonable price and last, but not least, the pool is warm and great for doing lengths, unlike some of the 'kiddy' pools at other hotels in Sudbury. A definite winner in all respects. I will return!

Check in was amazing. Very friendlly and informative. Room was clean but there were many signs of needing an update. Shower was barely room temperature. Staff was always very respectful and kind.

Great staff, clean room and comfortable bed, nicely designed, good breakfast. I was not feeling well and I was accommodated with an accessible room. Great stay.

Comfortable beds

Staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room itself was very clean but needed some updates or repairs; one lamp did not work at all, tv stand could be replaced, door frames were banged up as well. Pool area was clean but ladies restroom area within the pool had rusted stall door frame that was crumbling. Room keys were very sensitive and needed to be reactivated.

I was able to for late check out

Pool neglected. My kids felt like the room was sketchy. Worse part was that free breakfast was closed at 930am, especially on a weekend. The restaurant wasn't even open to order food. Whats up with that! . Hallway was loud and noisy with housekeepping. No ice machine where it said there was one. I don't have time for more comments.

Toilet doesn’t flush properly

No coffee in the rooms. The pool was closed. No hairdryers in the room.

Given the price and reputation, we thought we were in for a more high end experience. Not sure because of the location (city centre) or clientele, it felt cheap. Staff was nice, pleasant, room was decent, adequate but won't return.

Bartender/Waiter was excellent, Front desk staff was excellent
