Staff are nice and helpful. Location is convenient for eating and transportation.

Thon hotel terminus is definitely a hidden gem in Oslo. When we first arrived to the outside of the hotel, our expectation wasn’t that high. However, our stay in there was surprisingly great, especially with the breakfast. Having freshly cooked, hot pancakes, croissants readied on the tray, fresh juices and milk available in the breakfast hall, the breakfast was nothing short of splendid. Other than the breakfast, the room was comfortable and quaint. The staff were polite and professional. The hotel’s proximity to the Oslo central station and the Opera house is definitely the icing on the cake as we could walk back and forth from our hotel to famous tourist spots in a pretty short distance. The hotel will definitely be on the consideration list if we visit Oslo in the future.

It’s good to relax and enjoy the environment. It’s good choice to stay there.

Location er praktisk og tæt på mange gode steder, men i sig selv ikke super fedt - dog kendetegnende ved en de fleste storbyer omkring hovedbanegården. Værelset og hotellet var Ok, men ikke mere end det. Meget upraktisk at man ikke kan oplade elektronisk udstyr over natten, da man skal slukke på hovedafbryderen for at slukke alt lys, som også tager strømmen i stikkontakten - ikke synderligt genialt i 2026.

We arrived at Thon Hotel Terminus at approximately 11:00 p.m. and found the entrance locked. After knocking for several minutes, we were eventually let inside by guests who were leaving. A staff member was at the front desk but did not come to open the door. When we asked about this, he explained that the surrounding area can be unsafe at night and that the doors are therefore accessible only with a hotel key card. While we understood the security concern, the hotel should provide a clearly marked doorbell, intercom, or sign with instructions for arriving guests who have not yet checked in. The walk from Oslo Central Station was also uncomfortable late at night. There was significant construction, several closed sidewalks, heavy traffic, and many loud or intoxicated people in the area. We did not feel particularly safe and would hesitate to recommend this location to families with young children, especially when arriving after dark. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, but it was very small and became uncomfortably warm. There was no air conditioning, and opening the windows resulted in considerable street noise. During the summer, the extended daylight made it difficult to use the blackout blinds while also trying to cool the room. Breakfast was quite good, although it was not included in our rate and required an additional charge.

Helpful staff. Perfect location. Best breakfast of the 15 day trip.

Great courtyard and great water pressure in shower

The hotel itself is good, staff is very helpful and breakfast is great, but there were couple of problems we faced. 1. The room we got was super small. It was advertised as capacity to sleep 4, but after converting the sofa to bed, there was literally no space to even put our bags anywhere or to walk. 2. I did not expect to face this problem in Norway, but the days we were there, were rather hot. With no A/C or even a proper fan in the room, it became very uncomfortable at night.

Hadde et bra opphold denne gangen også! Rent rom da jeg kom, stille og rolig på natta, og veldig god frokost på morgenen. Generelt bra service på hotellet, men vil gjerne trekke frem et par av de kvinnelige ansatte i restauranten/frokostsalen. For noen serviceinnstilte og blide folk! Bor gjerne her igjen!

The breakfast was awesome

Walking distance to the Oslo S. Decent breakfast. Room was very spacious compared to the other property in Oslo.

The location was very convenient but the room was bare bones and the view was unpleasant. Breakfast was surprisingly good.

First thing that comes to our minds are the Complimentary Full Breakfasts…they were AMAZING! We looked forward to them every day! Not so great were basic room amenities. Did not even provide lotion and our first night there was an empty Kleenex box in room. Our room was only provided 2 washcloths for our 3 night stay and apparently, unless you call and ask flti have them replaced, even that is an unusual request! They replaced them once again and because one was used, there were no other replacements allowed! There was so much construction going on just outside and all around our hotel. Clearly it was not the property owner’s fault, but mad it both difficult to navigate driving and parking. Also I felt our hotel was literally on the edge of nicer for walking around and shopping on one side and the other side was a more sketchy area.

Stort familierom for 4 stk. hotellet har alt man trenger med unntak av aircondition. Veldig varmt om natten på sommeren uansett om man har to vifter.
