Everything was great, room, bedding, my wife and I enjoyed our stay, but the fact that there was no movies or PPV options on the TV was really disappointing.

Great location for the money. Love having a kitchenette in the room and having 2 rooms. Highly recommend.

Construction going on that wasn't mentioned when booking. I was told parking was sold out but it appeared the garage was closed. Parking was 3 blocks away. Staff was great very helpful!!

It’s very close to state capital

Always an excellent choice when doing business at the Capital. Staff there know it too.

Don’t accept cash. Had to pay on my iPhone to retrieve car. (BTW the valet accepted cash when I checked in and when he retrieved my phone from my car. The restaurant is a joke. Balcony is 20 inches deep and of course no chair. Avoid at all costs.

Close to Capitol

Great stay

I was very pleased with Double Tree. This is my 2nd time to stay here, by choice. It is so close to the Capitol, within easy walking distance. It’s also close to restaurants. The staff was wonderful!

Very spacious suite. Quiet, even being right next to the elevator. The only negative: the heating/cooling fan was very loud.

This Doubletree is an oasis of serenity mere steps from the capitol. Despite the chaos in Austin of the legislature simultaneously being in session with the run of SXSW, this hotel offered sanctuary and comfort. The suites are spacious, immaculate, well-appointed, and serenely comfortable. The corner suite where I lodged had windows on two sides, one of which was a lovely, expansive bowed window. I will definitely stay here again on future Austin visits.

Disappointed i was unable to book a 2nd night, though understandable.
