I like Walk to school.

rented a QUEEN bedroom for me & my partner. we got a full size. I chose and paid specifically for a Queen size bed. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Beware if you book the queen room, it’s a FULL SIZE. Me and my partner slept horribly, tossing & turning, knocking elbows all night. Plus the mattress was not comfortable, you could feel the springs.

Great option for the value

One of us thought the bed comfortable and the other said a little too hard. But overall wonderful.

It was clean and staff was nice.

This is a very clean “high-end” Motel 6 style hotel. Great for a quick overnight. Although, extremely expensive due to this weekend being graduation.

Comfortable beds but very basic rooms and breakfast.

Location to Cal Poly, Great Price. Clean and comfortable. Trouble getting into room, staff immediately communicated and provided me with assistance in getting into the room. Will definitely stay again, and recommend to others.

I arrived late and the lobby door was closed. The front off staff opened a side window and said he’d be with me in a minute. Mind you I was cold and tired. The gentleman was locked out of his computer and gave timing his boss. The could not provide a key because of the licked computer. It took 10 minutes before the staff walked. Me to my room and let me in with a master key ( which meant I could not leave my room to get back in ). He opened the door and I was hit with the most overwhelming scent of Pinesol which left me with a headache all night. Sheets descent Bed slanted. Pillows mediocre, bathroom clean, towels descent and smelt clean, . would not stay there again

Always stay here. Simple. Affordable. Clean. Not fancy, but who cares.

The cleanliness of the Inn and the kindness and care that each and every person that works at the Inn was impressive and was very much appreciated by my Mom that stayed here.

Good location but it’s a bit outdated. Bathroom had rust. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock and was very noisy when opening. Our neighbors door was making loud noise too. Beds were clean and comfortable which is the best part. Breakfast was as promised, just coffee tea and some sandwiches you could heat up, which is expected. Check in was a breeze and easy.

It was great.

Feel lucky to have found this gem. Lovely hard working staff. Property is well maintained. Bed is comfortable with nice linens. Pleasant stay. Plan on staying here when in SLO.

The staff were not friendly and did not provide any refills of the breakfast items even if there was still 25 minutes left before breakfast service closes.

Dirty, AC leaked rusty condensation on the floor, something splattered on bathroom door, stained mattress cover, a very broken hair dryer. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

My family went on a weekend family trip to visit San Luis Obispo and the Morro Rock. Our stay at the University Inn was great. Rocky at the front desk was very helpful. The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was good too, just wished they'd service oatmeal.
