Extremely unprofessional front-desk staff. Two mistakes occurred during check-in and check-out respectively: 1. I booked a suite for 3 nights but was assigned a standard room, forcing 3 of us to squeeze into two double beds on the first night. Since my daughter handled the check-in and was unaware of the room type I booked, when I returned to the hotel that evening and questioned the front desk about the discrepancy, the staff showed no apology. Instead, she claimed we had "stayed in the wrong room for too long" as if it were our fault, and said no suites were available that night. When I requested a refund for the price difference between the suite and standard room, she refused to provide a reasonable solution. I haven’t received the refund yet and have no idea how much I’ll actually get. 2. At check-out, despite my full pre-payment, they charged my daughter’s credit card for 3 nights again. When we asked the front desk, the staff said he "didn’t understand the situation" and told us to contact our bank ourselves, forcing my daughter to file a dispute with the bank over the duplicate charge. I can’t understand how a hotel of high standards could make such mistakes. In short, I will never choose it again.

Car valet staff does not answer the phone when you call them. It takes at least 20 minutes to get through to them, which is unacceptable. This is the second time I’ve had this issue with them and as many stays at your hotel.

The room was dated and the hall partly torn up. The staff would start banging doors at 6:30 am, talking loudly, and COOKING food in the room adjacent to ours. It was like trying to sleep in a fry kitchen. It only stopped the day we left because I complained to the front desk. The cooking- not the rest. Housekeeping never came to our room because we weren’t out before 8:30 am. No towels no fresh cups no garbage pick up. The lobby is nice and the location. But would not stay again. I’ve never had a room that reeked of cooking oil.

Nice hotel close to CHOP and Penn

Second stay here. Incredible value for its location. Massive room with walk in closet. Friendly and helpful staff give the place a lovely vibe. Definitely the place to stay when in Philly

The furniture in my room was in very bad condition. The bathroom tub had rust around part of the tub and the stand that holds the sink was in terrible condition. Rugs also needed replacing. The lobby was nice .

Such a great location for a great price in the city.

Hotel met our expectations and staff was very accommodating

The hotel, while sporting a cute and modern lobby, was a disaster. It’s not clean. The hallways were a mess and needed to be vacuumed. The mattresses— super uncomfy. The sheets and blanket and pillows- not comfortable. The gym— 1/5 treadmills worked and the water cooler was empty. Truly disappointed in our stay.
