The hotel has excellent location and the staff is very friendly and professional. Good food, elegant buildings, and nice view. I would be more than likely to go there again.

The hotel is at a very good location. The room is nice and with very good bedding. Breakfast is OK also.

Very spacious room, helpful and friendly staffs, have dined at the bistro once and it’s good. The location, of course, is the highest merit, as it’s next to the residence palace and opera, and only a few steps away from the cathedral that defines Dresden’s skyline. However, WIFI is surprisingly slow for a five star hotels, many a times, it is not working, at all, hotel did explain later blaming on peak hour usage.

Wir sind wirklich sehr oft in Hotels unterwegs, aber dieses Kempinski ist seit Langem das beste Hotel, in dem wir waren. Erstklassig geschultes Personal, kurzes Einchecken, blitzsaubere und ruhige Zimmer. Erstklassiges Frühstück sowie wunderbares Restaurant. Jeder Cent ist es wert, hier abzusteigen…und nicht zu vergessen, die perfekte Lage, um das „alte Dresden“ zu erkunden. Semperoper, Dresdner Zwinger, Residenzschloss, Frauenkirche usw. alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Bitte mehr solcher Hotels! Danke Kempinski!

Absolutely amazing hotel, in every respect. There is really nothing one can seriously criticize even if one tries hard. The room was amazing, very tasteful, the bed was comfy, it was quiet at night, the room service was impeccable, the in-room breakfast was an unreal treat. Go and experience this hotel, when you have a chance!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit mässig interresiertem Personal. Keine Herzlichkeit spürbar. Dies ist in einem Ibis Budget okay, aber in einem Haus dieser Klasse eher unangebracht. Evtl. lag es auch daran, dass wir nicht über 60 Jahre alt waren und somit nicht dem Gästeklientel entsprachen

Super nice, newly renovated

The hotel is in a rebuilt palace of the chancellor Taschenberg right next to the royal palace, Zwinger, Opera and the stunningly rebuilt Frauenkirche and Royal chapel. The location is ideal for walking the city. The reception, staff and rooms are exceptional. dining is very good. The Hotel has its on Parking. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Overall a top first class .
