The toilet is not clean enough and always generates urine smell……

Property was great, room was lovely, staff were wonderful. Despite the power outage for most of one day had a fantastic stay.

Great stay! Staff was pleasant and accommodating, room was spotless, and the breakfast was great. Hotel is older and some spots show, but it is part of the charm you should expect.

Staff were great. Given the power failure not much to add

I was very disappointed with the management’s handling of a power outage this past Saturday. While I understand utility issues can be out of the hotel's control, the lack of communication and compensation was unacceptable. We were left without breakfast or hot water until 2:30 PM. No alternative meal vouchers were provided, and the staff made no effort to offer a room discount or credit for the significant inconvenience. For the price paid, I expected much better service recovery.

Staff were great, rooms were good for the price and breakfast buffet was a good incentive to book.

Staff are very nice, friendly, polite and informative. Room was also very nice, spacious and clean. We liked the underground parking, too. The only complaint was that TV was in the living room area, far from the bed, it would be nice if the TV was close to the bed, also it wasn’t available to cast Netflix. Overall we enjoyed the stay very much.

A nice, clean place; unfortunately not very soundproof. We could hear every person walking down the hallway, opening/shutting doors, walking around the floor above us, and construction outside. The front desk did provide earplugs upon request. The breakfast buffet was good!

Very loud (plumbing, other guests), power was out so no hot water or breakfast. Location is decent but wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Room was clean and servicing of it was quick and unobtrusive. Breakfast was more than we expected. Have decided we are too old for stairs in a room though.

We stayed in the Royal Dorset Suite while staying in Victoria on Feb 3-6, 2026. All the comforts of home with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room. More than enough room for six people (or more) and easy walking distance to everything in downtown. I definitely recommend this hotel and their suites. Jason B
