Great service at check in and breakfast.

The bed felt amazing and it was very clean. The pool was the perfect temperature.

The hotel is very nice and clean. It looks remodeled. The pool area looked nice, but we didn't have an opportunity to swim this trip. It was a close straight ride to Seaside Heights boardwalk. The front desk staff was friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Surprise hotel find a drive from the beach with a pool, ample parking and clean and quiet. Great service!

Our room was consistently damp - I think from running the AC and no ventilation in the room. Our clothes were damp after being left out in the room and the floor was like a skating rink from being damp. There is limited choice of hotels but definitely won’t be staying here again

Very nice, clean, safe, and quiet. All you really need for a place to rest your bones. I highly recommend.

We were in town for a funeral. The hotel was close to downtown, so it was convenient to where we needed to be. It's an older hotel. Was surprised there was no elevator to the second floor. Not a problem, but surprising. Restaurant was small, food and service good.

Very clean and spacious room, very comfortable bed, individual climate control, in room coffee, TV with remote and lots of channels.

The Clarion is a nice hotel, everything was clean, and the room was well appointed, but for one thing. There was only the one desk chair in the room and two beds. We needed another chair and that wasn't immediately taken care of until we asked a second time a day or two later. It's a small thing, as everything else was good. Breakfast was not included but we knew that coming in. The hotel is a little pricey, but that is mainly because that's the going rate right near the shore area in New Jersey, so no big deal.

Was not happy when we were told our room was on the 2nd floor and we had to go up stairs to get there. There was no way i was going to do that, didn't expect that at a Clarion. The lovely ladies at the desk found us an ADA room on the first floor for the same price. (I was also surprised they charged more for an ADA room.) The room was nice, clean and large. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, that was handy. I did find the bed uncomfortable. My back sunk into the mattress, though my husband said he was comfortable. It was in a convenient location so i would probably stay there again.

Great stay! Comfortable and clean. Little dated but didn’t even think about while I was there. Excellent customer service!

Hotel is as good as you’ll find in Toms River but still can’t believe in this day & age that the hotel still doesn’t have an elevator.
