Hotel itself was good, kitchen facilities were a good location. It's a series of buildings around one open court yard. Means you have to go outside between reception and room.
However, check-in was poor. Asked to show reservation then was given a piece of paper with their email and was told to email reservation. This was very odd and never happened to me before as a regular traveller. Then when room key made, told that the lift in the building we were staying in wasn't working. They did offer to take our bags up and could phone to get them to take it down. However I would face expected them to check this was ok before confirming our room.
