I had a wonderful time staying at the W hotel in Memorial Day Weekend. The accommodations were spectacular, the staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurants were fantastic and delicious, I especially liked the Listening Bar. I came into town to see Bruno Mars concert (which was cancelled due to the torrential rain that poured that weekend); but I enjoyed my stay and meeting other people who were at the hotel. When I return to back to Toronto, will happily book my stay at the W Tornonto hotel.

BEST TIME EVER!

Expected more for the money spent on staying here. When we got to the room, we found the mini bar area completely empty. No bottles, snacks or anything as advertised. The room could have been cleaner as we had found a cheerio on the floor. Wasn’t overly impressed by this hotel, sadly. Wanted to love the stay here and feel like it was luxurious but it did fall a little short. Breakfast was nice in the morning though, the quality was very good.

My stay was amazing! The hotel’s location was ideal for our trip; centrally located, convenient, and very well maintained. We arrived earlier than expected, and the staff was able to accommodate us with a room right away, which was greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, the team was attentive and eager to assist with any requests we had. The W Insider Team also checked in with us via text to ensure everything was going smoothly and that all of our needs were being met, which they absolutely were. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the entire W Toronto team for making our stay so enjoyable!

I forgot my photo ID at check in, and the manger came down and made the situation much more difficult than necessary. I understand policies must be followed, but the interaction could have been handled in a more professional and customer friendly manner. There was also confusion regarding our room. We were initially told that the room was ready, but the manager informed us that a room still needed to be prepared, which was frustrating and inconsistent. All of a sudden, the room was miraculously ready. Additionally, the outdoor lounge area was closed during our stay. The mirrors in the room were distorted, and the bathroom layout seemed better suited for a single guest rather than multiple occupants. I would choose a different property for future stays.

W Hotel Toronto was both a treat to myself and a necessity as I was in town for business. The central location is hard to beat, allowing me either walking distance, or a very short Uber ride to where I needed to go. The rooms are very unique and I love the level of automation on things like the drapes, lights and climate (all touch screen panels, conveniently located throughout the room). The restaurant on the 9th floor is spectacular, both in food quality and service quality. I was amused by the rotating welcome mat that was changed with the time of day. My one suggestion would be to ensure there is vacuuming and floor care happening regularly. I stayed for 2 nights and the cleaning that happened on the room during that time had everything cleaned except all the same threads and small debris that had appeared on the floor remained upon my return. A small, yet easily rectifiable thing. This stay was memorable and I would recommend the property to others.
