Room is nice, restaurant is perfect, but the air con inside the room is not really good.

Hotel en manque de modernité dans les chambres.

L'hôtel est trop démodé en plus la climatisation ne fonctionne pas correctement. Impossible de Contrôler on/off du Clim, j'était mal dormi pendant la nuit à cause du froideur. Finalement on a décidé de partir à ailleurs plutôt que prévu dans cet hôtel. Sinon, les personnels de cet hôtel ont généreux et accueillant .

Room drapes has holes and not hung properly. Central HVAC was not working properly and no controls in room to set temperature and ventilation. Very uncomfortable sleeping through the night.

Très bon accueil, chambre spacieuse, très agréable. Petit déjeuner extraordinaire, choix et qualité ; fromages normands !!! Délicieux. Par contre le restaurant à une carte qui correspond à une clientèle internationale et sans culture du terroir...dommage. la viande était immangeable, mon plat est parti à la poubelle. La proposition en poisson est quasi nulle, il me semble que le Havre est un port et le marché aux poissons se situe à 2 enjambees mais le chef préfère ouvrir son congélateur et sortir du saumon d'élevage !!! La facilité, hélas, détrône l'engagement dans le qualitatif et le créatif. Je me moque des propositions plancha, barbecue...je ne suis pas sur les bords de la Méditerranée aussi je rentre frustrée et dépitée dans mon Sud, je ne saurais jamais quel goût et saveur a le Havre.

Infelizmente, para esta minha viagem optei, na maioria das reservas, por hotéis da rede Mercúrio. Hoje reconheço meu engano pois constatei que visam única e exclusivamente o lucro em detrimento do mínimo conforto dos hóspedes. Passamos 3 noites horrorosas, com calor insuportável e sem ar condicionado no quarto. Note-se que este é item incluso na reserva, mas que foi propositadamente desligado por economia mesmo conscientes do desconforto causado. Diante desse tratamento, resolvemos nunca mais reservar hotéis da rede Mercúrio para não mais sermos surpreendidos desagradavelmente.

Les "Plus" : Chambre impeccable, personnel professionnel et serviable. Les "Moins" : climatisation inopérante en chambre, obligé d'ouvrir la fenêtre et subir le bruit de la circulation du boulevard en contrebas. Petit-déjeuner : salle mal agencée, les clients se bousculent dans les passages étroits, notamment entre les deux buffets ; plats chauds en quantité insuffisante au vu du chaland, attente conséquente d'un réassort qui arrive froid au final (ex : oeufs brouillés) ! Décoration du hall très sombre et passablement défraîchie, déprimante.

Arrived to a warm reception from the front desk. Pretty much went downhill from there. Checked in and had to kill 6 files and three mosquitos in the room. It was hot in La Havre and the room was over 90 F. Called the desk to ask how to cool room, told they control and just open a window. Which explained the flies, because there are no screens. The Bar/restaurant staff were just genuinely uninterested in Serving guests in any way. I will never go back.

A part Cyril au petit dejeuner, le reste du sejour a été improbable. Notre chambre au 5 ème donnait sur le côté bar, il y a eu une soirée qui a obligée une bonne partie des résidents à sortir tellement il etait impossible de se reposer dans le chambre jusqu'à 22h15. Le lendemain en rentrant, je trouve le sachet de poubelle laissé sur mon ordinateur. Et pour la douchette : aucune pression d'eau. Bref un sejour que je ne renouvellerais pas.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Mercure Le Havre Centre Bassin du Commerce. The location is good. The hotel is a short walk from the station and the city centre with all the sights and dining options is also a short walk away. The room was a good size with a kettle, tea, coffee, and milk. An empty mini fridge. There was also a good amount of storage space. The bathroom had a lot of space to put potions and lotions to. It had shower only, no bath. We had one dinner there, which was very well stocked buffet of good quality items which was reasonably priced at 20 euros. The service was also excellent. The breakfast was as you can expect in a 4 star hotel and maybe even a bit better. They kept the items replenished all the time and the dining room was always kept spotlessly clean and overall in perfect condition. You seldom see that level of attention to detail. If we ever return to Le Havre we will almost certainly stay there again.

Breakfast was great you could actually cook your eggs your way all the sides were plentiful staff was quick at cleaning the tables and replenishing all the food and very attentive differently recommend this property
