I have stayed at this hotel several times in different locations, but recently my experience has been disappointing. In April, I visited the one in Chicago and was hustled out of my $85 deposit! I can’t afford to lose money like that. They kept saying the deposit was sent back, but I never received it. Then, I stayed at the location in Beechwood and had the same issue, this time losing a $50 deposit! I want my deposits back! I haven't made much noise about this yet, but I am ready to. The staff in Chicago was great, while the service in Beechwood was just average—not something to brag about. The highlight of my visits was the breakfast and the bar; they did a fantastic job there. However, I will likely take my business elsewhere if this continues, as I feel like I'm being scammed out of my deposits for no reason! No parties, noise, not left dirty.. Nothing! just my daughter and I..!! I want answers!!

My granddaughter had bites on her from the sofa couch, the rug was filthy, the bathroom need updates. It had paint chips in the tub. The toilet is too low! And our air conditioning wasn't working properly. The only good thing is the breakfast but We won't be back.

The hotel is average and this is due the poor bed quality, toilets are way too low, just need to update the property

First room the bathroom had a sewer issue so we was moved from second floor to the fourth floor then that room furniture was very old had rips in it. Couch is very old had rips in it the next morning that bathroom has smell like the sewer.

Stayed here before and loved it. Unfortunately it has not been kept up, definitely going down hill. Breakfast is still fantastic.

It appears this property is being renovated. The pool was closed (no big deal) but the gym was also closed and that was a problem. The property description mentioned no pool but said there was a gym. It looked like you could only get to the gym by going through the pool area. If I'd known the gym was closed, I would've chosen a different hotel.

Furniture was in poor condition and quite uncomfortable

It’s. Beautiful hotel but it’s definitely not maintained to the standard that most of the Embassy Suites we’ve stayed at are. But it’s mostly small things. A few cracked tiles, bathroom door that needs to be really pushed to lock, sticking buttons on the AC and things that are unplugged. But overall it’s a great place to stay and for the price, you really can’t beat it. They also have one of the best included breakfasts of any hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Definitely staying here again the next time we’re in town.

The embassy suite Beechwood location need to be remolded. The toilet did not work the carpet was filthy the couch was nasty the wall paper is peeling.. worst hotel experience I ever had. I do not recommend this hotel.. the front desk clerk was nice tho

Only issue was pool repair and no more hot tub

Location was convenient for my needs. Easy check in and out. Pool was closed. No coffee in morning.

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the outside of the facility. I did not appreciate the dirtiness of my room furniture. I also did not appreciate that the pool was not up and running as stated on the Expedia website. Also, the A/C needs to be updated.Even though I had my air on the coldest temperatures. It was still humid and warm inside of my room. It was also hot all over the building. It got so bad that my husband had to purchase a fan for us to be able to sleep. I am highly disappointed in reference to the discomfort that we experienced and all of the funds that we spent preparing to enjoy the pool just to check-in and be told that the pool was under construction. It was one of the main reasons why we even chose this particular location. I’m not sure if this miscommunication of the pool amenity was an update issue on the Embassy or Expedia.

The pool was down....this is why I booked this hotel. Loved the breakfast area. The service was great!
