Generally good for the price. The room was comfortable but the bed was too soft for us.

Plenty parking space and we got a ground floor room, so it was easy to manage the baggage.

The staff were incredible, helpful, understanding, informative. The hotel itself whilst on a main road, I had a room at the front and didn't hear a thing! I found the beds to be comfy and the queen room to have exactly what I needed and reasonably priced too! Thank you!

The Hotel was not bad for the price paid. Communal areas were well presented and clean but the rooms were very dated with pealing wallpaper and in much need of a refresh. I probably wouldn’t book in warmer months as the windows in the rooms are sealed shut so not ideal. Although the hotel is on a main road it was very quiet. When we visited the lady on Reception in the afternoon was lovely. However, the young lad who manned both the Reception and the Bar at night could do with not entertaining his friends in the Bar and focusing more on his job. He was quite abrupt and his friends were a bit intimidating.

It was a bed for the night. A little tired! Other residents were extremely noisy till mega late. Virtually no sleep had. Staff were lovely. Very helpful. Breakfast nice but probably would not stay again

Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying longer than one night, and no conssesions for disabled parking and only one disabled parking space. Hotel is on a busy road but you don't hear the traffic noise in the hotel room. We didn't eat in the hotel as we always ate out and bought a snack back with us to have in the room. Hotel is on a duel carriageway and you have to go up to the roundabout to be able to get back to the hotel as there is no gap to get across to the hotel depending on which way you are travelling to and from the hotel.

Staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Hotel is pretty tired but was clean and spacious. There is plenty of parking. Absolutely nothing wrong with our stay at all

Good price for booking one day in advance. I would I stay here again? Probably not. Good for one night stop off heading North, but I can’t see it being an ideal location for a short break.

Lovely and friendly staff. Not the poshest hotel or the best location, but quiet and warm. Breakfast good value and other meals reasonable too. Easy access to A1 and M1 and close to J32 Outlet Centre- worth a look. York not too far away . Overall good value for money.

Seemed a little tired but clean

Big size room with plenty of space. All amenities were available on arrival

The stay was ok. The bed was terrible it felt like two beds fixed together, one was so worn out it was like sleeping in a bath. The tv wouldn’t work correctly, only half the buttons on the remote worked so we couldn’t retune the set.

A very basic accommodation which is showing a lot of signs of ware over many years. I would suggest it needs to start at basic repairs in the rooms. Light bulbs missing, switches missing, fridge with the free spring water was warm as it appeared the temperature of the fridge was room temperature. On trying to open the bottles of water they sealed. However you could open them using grips. Overall was very disappointing.
