Staff was super nice and went out of their way to provide us with extra shampoo and conditioner as we have long thick hair

This room was dirty and had a sandwich on the countertop. Felt like there was someone living in there already. Gave me another room, which was just OK. Lamp was broken.

Convenient to VA hospital.

The staff was very nice. The location and surroundings were not great. And the “breakfast” available was the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. Just pre packaged junk.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only dining is the breakfast which left quite a bit to be desired. The Carte bus system is right outside the bldg. but you cannot depend on it if you need to make a timed reservation. The area this hotel is located in is not Downtown as most of us know it but a medical area of hospitals, medical offices etc. Restaurants and activities are in the areas more like Downtown like King St and the others in that area.

The shopping in the area was nice. The rooms were clean, staff was great, air conditioning was spot on.

Property is under construction - all parking spots are labeled for valet only - BUT not currently using valet - so really they are all open- you just don't know that. Room was okay. Absolutely no insulation / sound proofing between rooms or door to hall. Neighbor turned on TV at about 230 AM and woke us up and kept us awake. Not sure if same, but others were in hall about same time and they were loud and we could hear them quite clearly. while upgrading rooms it would be nice if you could work on how much noise transfers to room. Take and go breakfast is a joke- mini sausage biscuit thing, prepackage muffin, prepackaged small bagels, granola bar, one type of yogurt, apple juice and a small cream cheese in a fridge on a counter that looked like it was well used. no toaster for bagels.

Nice stay. Clean and quiet but it currently has some areas of construction and the pool is closed. No hot breakfast. Only grab and go due to the construction.

This Comfort Inn— transitioning into a Fairfield Inn, Mariott is just fine. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and by far the best thing about it, a friendly, welcoming staff. No complaints—but if you are there to see downtown and the French Quarter, you’ll have to walk. Not much more than a mile, but just so you know. For the price, no doubt I would stay again. But I am partying elsewhere!

The property was good for the price. Some of my ratings are due to the parking situation and breakfast options. They are switching ownership and are redoing the parking lot which made parking inconvenient and it smelled horrible outside due to it. The breakfast options weren’t the best either. Other than that, it was a great stay and the staff were super friendly and amazing. The rooms were clean and everything else was great!

Clean and comfortable room. Excellent staff. Great location to MUSC hospital. Well priced compared to other hotels in the area.

The staff were friendly but the hotel was being renovated and the pool was closed which we did not know before arrival.

For the price a good deal. However still u def construction and while they advertise breakfast yogurt, orange juice and coffee does not make a breakfast, could have at least offered fruit and pastries. But like I said it was a good price

Disgusting! Filthy! Bad Odor in room! Dirty bathroom/ shower had hair in it! Lobby under construction & nasty! Felt unsafe!

The property was under major renovation. This was not conveyed before booking. No lobby or dining for the free breakfast which was only a grab and go prepackaged muffin. Front desk staff occasionally would look up from their cell phone as you walked by. Attitude was as though you were a bother to them.

Entire property was under full remodel and construction, entire parking lot was under construction and still charged me extra for parking. Want a refund for my stay

They’re doing a lot of construction, which I understand, the staff was not very friendly when I asked about getting a disabled veterans discount. She said we had already received a discount and that all it explanation she gave also the beds were not very good. The mattress kept sliding!!! we were gone all day to citadel and no one checked our room for trash or towels!

Nice place and close to MUSC

Unfortunately, we were not aware that the hotel was in transition to another brand. We drove around the area for about 30 minutes before stopping to ask if this was the hotel that we had reserved. We also didn’t know that the hotel was going through renovations. We were told that the we would be in a. Renovated room. However, the door to the restroom could have used some securing. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was rather lackluster when finding expired/frozen yogurt in the mini-fridge. The highlight was that the staff was very friendly and transportation to downtown was right outside our door-even though staff from the hospital used the bus stop for smoke breaks. We were able to get good recommendations from them of where to eat and what to see. We did miss the last bus coming back and found that walk was a little long but seemed very safe come back. We ate our ice cream and enjoyed the history of the architecture on the walk back.
