Staff was great. Room was clean and recently remodeled. We did have to resort to using the towels to prevent water stains (including from the ice bucket). Perfect location for catching the trolley, walking to restaurants, liquor store conventionally sharing the parking lot. Outside can sometimes feel the "not safest" at night (but that's not the hotels fault). It was a great place to sleep and perfect location for enjoying St Augustine.

El hotel está bien ubicado en la zona,a 15 minutos del centro caminando,como todo hotel de paso,está un poco desgastado pero está en buenas condiciones,la habitación limpia,buen colchón,cero olor a humedad que te ahoga,el AC funcional al 100/100,el baño nuevo(por lo menos mi habitación),en general la habitación le doy un 4.6/5. El desayuno ,no me lo espere que fuera tan bueno y variado,muy variado y los empleados muy atentos. A este hotel,para ser de carretera o de pasada ,para el precio ,yo le doy 4.7/5. Con confianza

The room was clean enough. The whole property is a bit on the older side & showing some wear and tear. Breakfast was not a highlight. The young lady working the front desk was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. Overall, meh, but the price was right compared to other properties in the area and it’s very close & convenient to the old city and attractions.

El lugar se ve muy bonito en fotos pero una vez que estás allí se ve bastante descuidado y sucio. Las habitaciones estaban súper sucias al igual que las toallas. El desayuno estaba normal. No recomiendo el lugar

The property is ok for what it is. Needs to be mopped and more upkeep on the grounds. The bed is very squeaky. It is very convenient to the tourist area which makes it great for a place to drop your stuff and go. If you plan on more time touristing and less time in your room then its fine. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Dirty curtains, just run down

Bathroom floors and all baseboards in the room were very dirty. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. We didn’t try the included breakfast based on the appearance of it. The property is home to an old tree visited by the town tour trolley throughout the day, so increased traffic in the parking lot throughout the day that was unexpected. Staff was friendly though. And we were able to walk to most of the things we wanted to see on our visit.

The linens appeared unwashed and stained, with visible dirt and debris. Ants had infested the sink and drain area. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to rinse off or wash completely.

The room was a deluxe king size, paid more than $180. Room was dirty and outdated, nothing close to the pictures on their website. Floor possibly not mop for a couple of weeks, coffee spill all over the floor. Dirty curtain, dirty lamp, wall full of dust. Terrible smell. If you have allergies, stay away from this place.

Clean room, central location easy to walk everywhere. Plenty of parking on site without a fee. Will stay again on our next visit to St. Augustine.

Great location. Very nice staff. Room could have been a lil cleaner (busy weekend) and they took us earlier than our reservation time so I’m very grateful. Overall, nice staff, and we would be back.

The bathroom sink was very slow to empty, probably blocked. The Shower had very poor water pressure. The bedside table was tacky. Don’t wear white socks when walking around the room, the soles turned black indicating the floors were not washed with clean water. Overall though, a scenic area and comfy bed. Breakfast was good. We got what we paid for.

We love our stay in the Villa 1565. They have a very nice staff willing to help at any time. It's located conveniently, we could meet the hole city walking from the villa. It's a safe and quiet place.
