It reeked of bleach. And marijuana, people vaping in halls. My eyes were burning and smell nauseating. The front desk clerk said i could cancel with out penalty. Obvious she didn't as i was billed. I cancelled Friday stay before 4:30 after spending 30 min on email and ended up on hold calling the hotel. I was told there would be no penalty. Guess what? I was billed! Never again will i book with Expedia. They need to vet the properties they advertise. I would have felt very unsafe there. Please credit my charges as the hotel had promised.

sink was broken, still worked however harder to turn on as it wasn’t actually attached to the sink. burnt out light. and our room wasn’t cleaned once, even when we notified them and asked for new towels and our room to be cleaned it was untouched. do not disturb sign was never on the door, still not cleaned

Smells of cigarette in the hallway but the room we stayed in didnt smell like that. I guess we get what we pay for since it wasn't that costly.

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times now. I keep coming back because we love the proximity to the Mall and it’s not too far from the downtown stadiums, the price point and the super comfortable beds. However, on the third day of our stay, my key would let us in the back door but not into the room. The first time we went down in the morning the lady at the front desk was friendly, apologized and got the key going. When we returned later in the afternoon the same thing happened, however that lady was not polite about it. No apology or friendliness of any kind. I even told her it was the second time it had happened that day. Was not impressed. The other staff members we encountered were all friendly, especially check in and check out.

AC did not work at all. Smelled like Weed very badly, I had my toddler with me and I am 8 months pregnant..

The room was ok but it had water damage on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom door. The room wasn't particularly clean but it wasn't grossly dirty.

Swifer those floors and CLR or Limeaway that shower head. Add hardboiled egg or name brand ceral that I know to avoid or eat. Quiet room, barely heard Bloomington's air siren for a spotted tornado. Safe area, don't judge or be rude.

The front lobby was confusing to find when arriving. The lobby and hallways had a strong smell of Marijana. Had to pay $10 for parking! First time ever I had to pay for parking. Pool water was chilly. Not a lot of choices for breakfast food or drinks. Bathroom was small.

Complimentary breakfast offered nothing hot to eat, the staff was rude and always had an attitude. $10 a day for parking and the bathroom did not have a vent to regulate the steam

Out dated and dirty property. Was told we could check in early and then got the run around for the next two hours until regular check in time. Had a houseless person come in during breakfast and take food from someone’s plate while they were eating. Front desk just watched him.

To start the front desk clerk Angie was rude and racist. Charge for parking that was not online. Room had a weird smell not clean. Breakfast was the only plus to this stay.

The location is ideal, close to the airport, Mall of America and major highways to downtown Minneapolis. And that's where the pros end. We booked this property two months ago based on rave reviews. The reality was far different. To start, the front desk surprised us with a $10/day parking fee that was not stated anywhere in the reviews or property description when I initially booked it. We had to park in the back, where only one of two entrances were available. That entrance led to a stairwell that was so dimly lit it was practically dark. The beds were uncomforable. Our bed creaked loudly every time we shifted, waking us and our daughter constantly. Maintenance never showed up to fix it when I told the front desk. We ended up stuffing two of our pillows between the mattress and box spring to muffle the noise. Our room smelled like stale cigarettes and weed despite the sign in the room that prohibited smoking of any kind. Breakfast consisted of watered-down coffee, waffles, cold cereal and yogurt. I think there was fruit but I didn't stay to find out. When we went out for the day one morning there was a man openly smoking weed outside right next to the back door. I didn't really care what he was smoking. But some guests were families with kids who didn't need to be exposed to that. Finally, the property appears to have all sorts of sketchy people coming and going. We never felt completely safe. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
