It is a very charming hotel, in a cute area of town. The lobby is decorated nicely and smells very clean upon entering.
We got a room for my sister and I with a balcony. The room was incredibly small. There is absolutely no privacy, considering both the shower and the toilet area walls are made out of glass. There is no closet in the room, merely a rack to hang your clothes. The balcony that we upgraded for, is so small it’s comical. Literally only a stool can fit on it. Our view overlooked a very unsightly construction site. But they only put us on the second floor anyway, so it wasn’t a very thrilling location to begin with.
Despite all of this, my least favorite part about my stay was the fact that they had poor room service charges. One morning I was sick, so I called and asked if I could order coffee to my room. They told me it would cost me 8€, however, if I went down to the lobby and got it myself, it would be free. So even though I was sick, I went down to the lobby to pick up my “free” cup of coffee, only to learn that it is actually 4€, not free at all. Another time, I had a container of leftovers that I wanted to eat, but I did not have a plate nor any cutlery so I called room service, and asked if someone could simply bring me one plate & a fork. I was told again that I would be charged 8€ for this. Personally, I find that ridiculous.
Although the hotel itself was aesthetically pretty, I probably would find another place with better amenities & more space.
