As the price value was pretty okay for what they provided, a clean room with a reasonable breakfast. Located next to the highway to the West as I remember. Except the 2 reception staffs morning and late afternoon were a bit impolite and impatient. I complained that they offered me a very inconvenient room that hard to carry my big luggage through a very hallway. The reception female staff for check in answered me kind of stupid reply. Another lady in the morning, that I asked when returned back the deposit to my account, she was told it would back to my credit card. I have never used my credit card there? She continued to say my debit card was a credit card in same. I have no time to continue this silly conversation. Please offer the reception staffs more training about how to communicate with the customers and their knowledge too. Thanks.

BAD WIFI IS POOR QUALITY. SOMETIME JUST DROPPED OUT THE INTERNET SERVICE

Don’t know about this property except the lobby since I left Went to check in and told I’m to early ok I understand The I asked to use a bathroom in the lobby to be told it was broken and I couldn’t use it thanks especially after driving for 8 hours this on top of the pool being closed and hotel looking run down so I left and went to another hotel The homeless guys eyeing all the cars in the parking lot turned me right off Didn’t cancel because no one seemed to care No more travlodges in my future

Stayed in room 237. My partner and I woke up with difficulty breathing to a room that smelled strange. Found two big patches of black mold on the washroom floor between the toilet and bath. These patches are big and have been forming for months at least. There is no way the staff have not noticed, it’s coming right up through the linoleum floor. The entire floor needs to be changed in that washroom before that room is safe to be rented out again. Mentioned it to the front desk, I hope they take this seriously, I have emailed them photos and explained that this makes people sick. I will be seeking a partial refund with hotels.com.

This hotel was the worst stay I’ve had in my life!! Hotel was dirty, parking lot was all torn up, room was disgusting.

Not the greatest stay. The entire property including rooms and amenities are severely outdated and need modernizing.

Highly Recommended for a Short Stay!I would absolutely come back and stay here again. It is a really good choice for a passing traveller who needs a place for a night or two. I was very satisfied with everything, including the clean room, helpful staff, easy parking, and the great breakfast.

Besoin urgent de rénovations et d'être au goût du jour. Mauvaises odeurs. Débit d'eau chaude de la douche très limité. Rien de comparable avec d'autres Travelodge visités. Grosse déception.

Extremely run down. The room was ok, (less a very creaky chair) but soap bar was still in the bathroom from the last guest. Makes one wonder how poorly the rest was cleaned.

We found all places in Thunder Bay extremely overpriced. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the place is very dated and run down. We weren’t looking for anything fancy, just a decent place to rest after a 12 hour drive. If the rate was 1/2 the price we would say it was to be expected but not when paying close to $300!

The rooms smelled bad. The pillows were terrible, flat and small and only 3 for a king size bed, and no extra pillows is what the staff said. The hotel was outdated. The booking staff told us there was a hot tub but there wasn’t. The pool was closed for a few months. Way overpriced at $240/night.

Everything is good

Small pillows on the bed and I was on the ground floor with an unfrosted window in the bathroom that was on a Main Street, not great for privacy.

Awful. The room was dirty, with hairs in the sink and tub. We arrived late on our road trip and there was a very loud party going on in the building on a Wednesday night which kept me up a lot. In the morning while yearning for a coffe I went to the coffee maker and found there wasn't a single cup to be found yo brew said coffee. For the cost, the place os abysmal. I would expect this sort of level from a motel, or maybe $80/night. Spend your money elsewhere cause apparently staying in thunder bay means a terrible experience (not our first or even mere third time with different hotels here) or you need to spend luxury prices to have a decent sleep.

We came to Thunder Bay for emergency medical reasons. Arrived at midnight. The elevator didn’t work. Had to climb stairs with broken bones. Room was filthy. Blankets had burn holes. Peeling wallpaper. Broken windows. Bathroom floor was sticky. They charged for wifi. Noise and music way late. We checked out as soon as we returned from the hospital and could not get a refund for the second night and couldn’t talk to th manager. We left and complained to Hotels.com with no results

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. If it’s not broken & dirty, it’s just dirty. No sleep due to the sound of intercourse and music through the walls. It is appalling that they charge the price that they do.

If I could give cleanliness and amenities 0 stars I would. There were garbage bags at the top of every staircase which had to be used due to the elevator being out of service. The room we were given had blood stained sheets, mystery fluid on the wall and a unkept bathroom. The front desk gentlemen was very accommodating and tried his best to help however the issues were beyond his control. Would not recommend staying here if you value a clean environment.
