Brilliant hotel and pool, rooms abit dated but nothing other than that you can’t go wrong

Everything was perfect

Very difficult to find your way around the hotel, we struggled to find reception when we turned up. Gym and pool were nice and rooms were nice and big, the room felt like a 5 minute walk away from the bar and reception areas. Breakfast buffet was poor, arrived at 9:30am and everything has been sat there a while and was stale and cold.

Rooms are far from the reception, initially I had a room which was under ground level, the room was lovely and big but had a dated bathroom with cob webbs but I asked to move and they kindly arranged another room closer to reception. WiFi wasnt that great nor was the signal for mobile. As I had changed rooms I forgot my room number and during breakfast the staff member wouldnt let me in for breakfast even though I was there the previous day for breakfast and she remembered me. Both staff members told me to go to reception to get my room number and then they can let me in. Breakfast was basic and had filtered coffee. Parking was a challenge as it was pretty full on both days

The staff were wonderful, the rooms clean and functional, but the property is a huge maze and not easy to find your way around. The "high tub/shower" amenities are not the safest to use.

Room was good for the non-budget price and comfort more than ample for the days I stayed. Swimming pool and facilities overall excellent, very friendly and good atmosphere. Didn't take breakfast - in too much of a hurry each morning. Did use the Bistro within the hotel (but run independently) and that was good value. All staff very committed and friendly apart from the one who checked me out. Parking isn't ideal but expected for the location. Overall a very good hotel and will definitely stay again.

Hotel was perfect and clean

Amazing service from all the staff. Every one was outstanding. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The food is priced highly but it always is in hotels. The mini-shop prices were outrageous because you have no other options nearby. The leisure facilities were good but the changing rooms were filthy. I visited on a Sunday and you could tell that a lot of people had been there. It is open to the public so all of the shower products were used up, the floor was wet everywhere with mud from shoes mixed in. Expect public baths rather than Marriott standard.

We had a lovely nice stay. Hotel was cozy and quiet. Would definitely stay again!!

Great stay, fantastic gym facilities, pool sauna etc. and great breakfast and dining options. We dined at the San Carlo restaurant which was absolutely outstanding.

Disappointed that the water pressure in my room was very low. It meant that the shower rose was only effective when I knelt down in the bath. Otherwise no complaints, clean room, helpful staff and good value considering location to Manchester airport

Great downstairs area, restaurant & Bar plus a San Carlo restaurant! Rooms poor need renovation & staff in main not great help.

We’re not there very much as at a funeral so didn’t use facilities.

Very nice room and nice and helpfull staff. Nice with the schuttlebus outside hotel.

Hotel and food was lovely. Only thing we were very disappointed with was the car park charge on check out. £15 for 11 hours. No one told us there would be a charge and personally if your staying there i think it should be free.
