It had different restaurants that were walkable around the motel and a grocery store.

What I like the most the location was excellent. It was in convenient location to restaurants and gas stations.

Clean, comfy bed. Great pool access and takeaway breakfast. Right at i10 and i12 made it very convenient. Great value.

If I could give zero stars I would. People hanging outside smoking weed, the rooms were like a dungeon , dark and gloomy. The floor was sticky and they had no housekeeping to come clean it. The rooms are old and unkept.

The hotel was of poor standard, with a connected room setup that offered no sound insulation. There was no sense of privacy, and we felt unsafe due to the loud and aggressive behaviour of the guests next door.

Quiet. Within walking distance to eat and shop. Front desk nice. Pool was big. Didn’t try breakfast. Chose to sleep in. Had a pest issue upon arrival. Issue was rectified immediately. The comforter in room 171 closest to the restroom is incredibly dirty and discolored. It needs a good wash. Other than that, our stay was just fine.

The stay was due to the funeral of a family member.

I have stayed here before. The location is great, about 35 minutes from New Orleans. Lots of shopping around including a Walmart. Several chain restaurants including a Cracker Barrel that you can walk to. Condition of hotel is not perfect. Bathtub was a little older but otherwise the room was updated and included an apartment sized fridge, a microwave, and a small cooktop. Pool area is nice although people sometimes start using it pretty early in the morning. Breakfast was nothing special but included juice, coffee, milk, waffle iron, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs. Would be nice if they added some more hot options like scrambles eggs and sausage patties, but again, for the price, I am not really complaining.

Our stay was ok, a place to lay our heads. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The smell of cigarettes and pot was strong and annoying. The rooms were clean enough but not well cared for (old screw fixings in the walls, paint spots on the floor, leaking sink, mislabled tub handles. Both knobs had an arrow with a C written with sharpie on the wall to indicate water temperature. The pool was maintained well and the hotel is pet friendly.

There are many restaurants around and good stay if you like to be away from NOLA while resting.

This hotel was very unsafe and there was paint peeling off the wall what looked like mold above the shower and a roach in my room

Our room was not clean. Looks nothing like the website. Our toilet wouldn’t flush and the front desk staff did not accommodate. We requested to move rooms and they refused since the “manager” was not available. We originally had a reservation for 3 days and checked out immediately. Was only refunded for the 2 days. Expedia customer service was very helpful.

The staff and service of the hotel is incredible. Very friendly and prompt. The room was clean when we got there. The only downside is that the walls are paper thin. We could hear people talking and playing loud music next door throughout the night. So, unless you are a heavy sleeper, ear plugs might be needed. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Rooms were clean however mildew smelling. Had to switch rooms 2x mold in 1st 2 rooms. Front desk clerks are beyond friendly & accomodating. Nice pool, well groomed landscaping. With some Lysol spray & small glade candle it was perfect! Did I mention the ladies at front desk were phenomenal!

The staff was super nice and the room keeping was good, provided nice extra towels. Lots of issues with the room. Phones were off the hook. TV kept flickering, changing color and sometimes having a double vision. The bedsheet and blanket were completely stained and gross. And the tub wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived. We also had people smoking in front of our room, so our room smelled like cigarette the whole entire time. Room to look a little better in the pictures, I had really high hopes:(
